  1. Liberalism is, without a doubt, a mental disorder.

  2. According to recent polling, 57% of people polled apparently didn't realize a POTUS was actually going to do what they promised. Most people probably weren't even alive--or old enough--to remember an Administration that did what it promised. They're in disbelief.

  3. Pretty amazing to me that there is clear video of the officer being hit by the car, clear precedent and case law showing why the officer was justified in the shooting, commentary from almost every legal expert in the country saying he was justified, etc... And yet somehow half the country (including politicians and law enforcement higher ups) is still screaming that this is murder.

  5. Yes it’s just fans have been spoiled it’s Ben at least 20 years of Silsbee competing on a 5a 6a level never worrying about district no disrespect to any other district team but we knew if we didn’t win a championship in football that we always had Basketball and adjusted to coming down from what our fans have grown used to seeing is tough to swallow we know these young men are working hard and the coaching transition but Coach Sig was there when I graduated in 1990 fans aren’t used to seeing Silsbee struggling especially in Basketball I give much respect to these young men that have to deal with change from what they were taught under coach Sig and our fans have to be patient with Change.

  8. not bad teams, for the most part. but the only schools that get leeway with their losses in the rankings are the dallas and houston area schools (and silsbee, for several years) who are playing top-10 6A-5A teams throughout their pre-district schedule.

  11. They might be able to stretch it into some kind of conspiracy but they crime would not be the pay but the plan to commit (at least in Texas) a felony. Merely planning a crime is not in itself a crime. It would have to be proven that 3 or more people got together and planned on committing a felony and at least one person in the conspiracy did an overt act to further the felony. At least under Texas law, saying that I’ll give you $50 if you go stand on the corner with a sign saying whatever I want like the police are there gestapo, is in itself not a crime that I know of.

  12. Do any local basketball teams travel well? A 45min drive on a Tuesday and an early start time sure don’t help for a fan base.

  17. Bridge City only lost by 4 points to Silsbee last year with all of their “super stars!” What was the excuse then? It’s sad that when Silsbee is on top, the fans are die hard but let them lose one game and look, they get kicked to the curb. What a shame! Half of the stands got up and left in the middle of the 4th quarter because BC controlled that game until the end. How embarrassing for those boys. Silsbee isn’t a bad team, BC was just the better team, and 2 of the 4 quarters, weren’t their best.

  19. Help should start to come in next year, although people will still need to keep their expectations in check. If a certain kid with really strong Silsbee ties chooses to play at Silsbee the year after next, the Tigers could be as good as they've ever been. May have a legit three headed monster on the court again.

  26. Looked like it might of been a blowout in BC's favor at first. I'll give our kids props for playing hard and not laying down. Beating Silsbee isn't much to flex over these days. I'm 50/50 on them even winning a playoff game this year.

  37. Looking at criminal records and such, the left finds some questionable people to support. I think the “mother of 3” had at least 2 of her children taken away. Surely being a possible terrible mother doesn’t justify any use of force but there sometimes seems to be a pattern of who is supported.

  38. The local police chiefs in some cities have been disgusting. They are an embarrassment to the profession. That’s because police chiefs are often chosen for political reasons and not law enforcement reasons.

  39. My reaction is the same. I wish she hadn't been shot. But, I can't blame the agent for a split second decision in hindsight. She shouldn't have put either of them in that situation. SHE created the situation. The local authorities who are flaunting federal law created the situation. Not the agent. Not Trump. People say you shouldn't victim blame. Well...you should when they were disproportionately responsible for the blame.
