PN-G nearly beat SOC in 2022, did beat them in 2023 so there is no reason to think the Indians won't beat them in 2025.

What else are we supposed to say honestly? You guys (I love your stuff, no kidding) but you promote and glorify teams along with the UIL who gain advantages. Everyone knows what's coming and it's extremely difficult to compete with it. And somehow it's "racist" to bring up recruiting? Still haven't figured that one out. It is what it is man. The rules are there that allow it currently but it doesn't impress me. They have the most transfers in the state. That should not be allowed OR the school should be able to do it if they move up to a much higher classification. It's common sense to most but not all for some reason. Crown them. We are still coming, and we are bringing hell with us.

Most of the time it is all in fun. Aledo is a great program with a lot of winning history. PN-G has been winning for a good run lately without the D1 athletes most of the schools that have made it this far have. So being the under dog can put a chip on the shoulder of fans and players. It is just natural to defend what we love.

Kountze returned 1 player from last years team, and he averaged about 4 minutes a game of court time. There are 4-5 kids walking the halls that would have a tremendous impact, and likely would have gotten them the 3 seed/4 seed at worst. As far as the future goes, Kountze will be just fine. 6-7 years ago, Kountze had a 3-27 seasons (roughly), even the Sells led group missed the playoffs as Freshman and Sophomores. I don't think Kountze has another run as dominate as last year's' team in the foreseeable future, but they are going to field some pretty dang good teams sooner than later. The 7th-8th grade groups will have a pretty good mesh of players. It's obviously premature to project much further than that, but the 4th-6th graders have a very talented group of kids.

Let me Comment on the fact that I now have 60 years of going to PNG Football under my belt. I have seen the best, and the worst that the Indian Nation Fans have had to endure, and/or celebrate over these seasons. Regardless, we have always had a solid fan base. Whether we won 1 game, or multiple many win seasons the Indian Football team has had it's fans supporting them 100%. Well all of the Indian Football Fans support them 100%, not all of the PNG Indian Purple Pride Band Fans, I refer to those who leave after halftime, but I digress. There is no reason to doubt that either team in the PNG vs SOC game tomorrow has a chance to win. THAT IS WHY THE GAME IS PLAYED!!! After this game I will be overjoyed to go to the next round in the playoffs, or be just as overjoyed that my Indian Boys had an incredible season. Indian Fans make a commitment to their football boys!!! Everybody come on down from Dallas & pull for 'dem Bears, Everybody come on up from Mid-County & cheer on those Indian Boys. JMO but I dont like any public school thats open enrollment, but when the charters came in and the political parties and politicians at the time wanted this system probably because it lined their pockets...but once charters etc came into being the UIL was left IMO with antiquated rules that dont apply into today's world...but thats another topic for another day... Just found it interesting how much more talk PNG-SOC had last year vs this year, even on the Dallas-centric forums....maybe folks are getting PNG-SOC fatigue....I said it on TepAndStepp I think it's a much more competitive game this year....

I watched the game. It was pretty hard to watch. I come to the conclusion said guard was advised to make the move in his best interest. IMO

Lost 4/5 starters to graduation … The starter that was all state as a sophomore moved to HJ… The first 2 guys off the bench graduated…3 others that had varsity experience just decided not to even play… So essentially they brought back like 2-3 players from the entire team last year and those kids never saw the court much at all.

Im backkkk… just for a post or two. SOC, Randle, and IC, to me, are the top tier teams in the classification. I think we fall into tier 2. Does that mean we can’t win, no…. But it will take a perfect game and pull it out in the end type of situation. I will say this. And I’m a life long PNG fan. I have never seen more ignorance, racism, and utter negativity in my life from the PNG fans. From the crying about open enrollment, gloves, region, coaching, etc…. Suit up and play the game and see what happens. But speak with some football IQ folks. We are in the quarters. A undefeated season so far, great coaching staff, and good little team. Have a QB, RB, and 2 WR, coming back next year. Versus all the negativity, shoot out some positive thoughts.
