Isn’t there a button under Trump’s desk in the Oval office that magically rolls back prices? No complaints going up, but heads should roll now. Prices can’t come down until gas/diesel prices fall. Then the shippers who passed on their inflated fuel prices to the customers will surely back off their shipping fees, unless they are greedy dirtbags.

Indians 35 - 21. If I was the United coach, this Friday against PNG I'd be throwing long deep passes, with an occasional scramble out of the pocket intentional or otherwise. I have no data, but just based on my poor memory I think that all of United's scores against PNG for the past 2 or 3 seasons have been either long passes or QB scrambles. Besides that, just look at the PNG - Klein Oak game film. Of course, Coach J. is looking at the same film. I guess that's what makes the games interesting.

Not the first time in this run where we didn't have multiple D1 talents. I think back to the 08'-10' classes. It was during that run we lost to BRAZOSWOOD in the playoffs. We had a couple lean years and then the 2013 class came along. We won in 2015 after starting off slowly. 2018 started a run of talent few programs ever experience. I'm just saying it's way to early to go writing us the way some are doing.

Not sure if sarcasm is here or not. We lost by 28 to Gunter with what was probably the best team (top to bottom) Woodville ever fielded. We also lost to Anahuac last year. Note: Coach Houston’s 82 was damn good.

I'm sure a lot of people were writing La Porte off after going down 17-0. But if I've learned anything over the years about The Border War. It's that it's not over until the final buzzer sounds. As OlDawg said a lot of jitters played a role in that 17-0 Deer lead. Once both teams settled down it was classic Border War.

By total numbers but not by percentage of the population. Let’s say one group has 50 people and 5 commit a particular crime. Another group has 10 people and 3 commit the same crime. The first group has almost twice as many crimes committed. The first group by percentage of the population is at 10% but the second group is at 30% or three times more likely to commit a particular crime. That holds true with mass shooters. By ethnicity the least likely to commit a mass shooting offense is Latino. By race the most likely to commit a mass shooting offense is Black. As you said, not that it matters in a particular incident but as compared to population it is a myth that a mass shooter is more likely White. Total number? Yes as Whites make up a majority of the population and more than all other groups combined. As a percentage of the population? No.

Despite the score, I did see some evidence that Clear Lake was well coached. An example: In the first half the they had a high snap to the punter which rolled all the way to their 10 yard line. With Wildcats all around him, the punter intentionally kicked the ball out of the back of the end zone which resulted in a safety but almost certainly prevented a Wildcat TD. I was a little surprised after they got hopelessly behind in the 1st half that they didn't agree to a running clock in the second. I think that the reason is that their coach thought they would learn more using the regular clock. They never seemed to give up. They tried everything including a flea flicker and a sqib kick on the kickoff. If I had to pick an MVP for Angleton, it would be WR Kaleb Jammer, who was the leading receiver in non district last year, but missed the entire district season with an injury. It looks like if he can stay healthy, he will be a big factor for Angleton.

I don't really expect Angleton to run that t-formation with the full house backfield much if at all this year. They were starting to get away from it in the playoffs and with a big time passer in Duron, I think you will mostly see them in the I formation or the gun.
