I hear you, and what you are saying is true, but there was also a significant speed and talent difference between Hardin 8th grade football and 3A varsity football, and he navigated that pretty well. Let's just wait and see before we start to bury the kid on this board. I like the conversations also, but I can't help but think about the potential of the kid in question reading these posts and how that might affect him. We all love this sport and are passionate about our teams, but we are also all passionate about supporting all kids from SETX to succeed on every night except the one when they oppose our city! lol. Silsbee definitely has a better chance to get to state. I think the ceiling for BU is the regional tournament. If Silsbee does make it to state, their ceiling is probably whenever they play the DFW representative.
