Nice comeback after leading 3-0 and a Grand Slam and another HR by Detroit and they led 6-3 going into the 8th. We scored 5 unaswered and won 8-6. Hader with anothe save number 7 2 Ks and a pop up very few pitches.

Not sure if that was a baseball game tonight as we had no pitching and no hitting lose 8-0. Arrighetti did have 7 Ks in his short outing, Still can take series tomorrow, Go Stros

While in Nam I ordered a 66 malibu classic through the PX to pick up at Seattle when I got back. Paid 500 down and was to do a bank draft when I picked it up 1100+ bucks. Well bank refused. My uncle had a Crowflite station on Yale in Houston. One time during a gass war gas was 6.9 cent with full service in 58. When I got outa school in 62 gas was 19.9 in Leggett and my first job was in Camden at the ESSO station gas was 23.9. Was making 75 cent an hour. Had enough money to keep the 39 Pontiac full, run around and pay Mama some every week. Miss those days except when I went into the Army.

I didn't get to watch last night or today but the Stros came back last night to win 4-2 and won today 4-2 to take series from Detroit. Now Cleveland coming to town for 3. Keep it up.

Alvarez was the first Astro since 1994 when Jeff Bagwell didi it, to hit 2 home runs in the same inning number 23 and 24. 6 RBIs in the first inning, Astros batted around in the first with 9 runs. Once again the Bullpen made it scary with 8 unanswered runs until Matthews' dinger late made it 10-8 and Hader closed it out.

Not much I can say about today except we didn't hit or pitch and should have saved some runs from yesterday 5-0. But got the series.

Nice 13-2 win and I believe every player except pitchers got at least 1 hit. Alvarez Number 22 now 48 RBIs. Batting .316. Didn't get to watch it but kept up with it on phone. I'm sure Aggie will fill us in. Iami 8 ks in 5 innings

Nice 5-1 win Lambert win. Hader struck out the side top nine to close it out. Lost my feed for most of game. Not sure of all the stats.

Well pitching failed us again but hitting was so so lost 5-1 that's baseball I guess. New catcher Price was 0-4 looked weak swinging.

Wow and I gave up on them and went to bed in the 6th just crazy.
