Dude you're full ish. There's only a handful of teams that are in the same category as Katy and North Shore. Not to mention those school have a significant advantage in enrollment numbers than West Brook. I support the Beaumont kids. Maybe if you didn't live in Lumberton you would see it that way. And, if it's that personal to you, I sit in the same section at every game. Bottom section between the 50 and 45 on scoreboard side. Please fill free to walk up to me and explain it to me.

Give me a break.... Those teams can beat SOME teams in 4A and 5A. In some years. Newton wouldn't have a single ring if they played in 4a D1. That's a fact. But yes, they can beat up on a lot of mediocre 4A teams like ours in a lot of years. Lumberton would have had more success if they weren't always the small fish in the local 5A District.

No seriously, I like this WB team. Going to be exciting for sure.

Maybe I shouldn't have said, "their own version". I just meant that each coach has a little something different when they run the slot-t. Some slot-t teams are based around the power (234/236) while some slot-t coaches prefer to base their offense off of the buck sweeps.(328/ 349, 8 hole-reverse) Some slot-t coaches come to the line and make checks based on the defense. (usually trap checks) One thing I noticed about Lumberton that is different from other schools is they get out of the huddle and to the line in a hurry. They snap the ball before defenses can get lined up. I've seen most of the area schools that run the slot-t and they all have had success with "their own versions". As far a being a Romo fan, I can't change that. Thought he was a very good QB. Just wish the COWBOYS could have had a few decent defenses during his time. He takes a lot of crap about not winning "big games", but in most of those "big games" he would put the COWBOYS in a position to win just to have the defense lose the lead.

From what I’m hearing and this is just rumors but I’m hearing that they wouldn’t be surprised if Lumberton moved up and Vidor actually go down and basically flip flop due to the floods, we will find out more on snapshot day and then cut off numbers. But the floods really hurt Vidor a lot on numbers

He will get his time on offense but it won’t be this year. He is not needed on that side of the ball, plenty of receivers. It wouldn’t matter if he was on offense if the QB isn’t letting the ball go. I agree with you Soulja on him being a dawg on defense. With Channelview throwing the ball more than King, and the other major adjustment the defense has made, he will have the chance to make some plays Friday night. I love the way he knows how to help out in run support against bigger RB’s while protecting himself. It was a good day of practice today with lots of energy. Some Sr kids are 17, most are 18, and some are 19, or even 20. Personally, I can’t imagine any legitimate reason a 20 year old should be playing HS basketball. And if Val Catts situation (and only 1week late) doesn’t warrant an exemption at 19, I’d appreciate someone giving me an example of what they consider a legitimate scenario for 19 (past the date) & 20 year olds playing HS sports. And to me, the official reasons above, make no sense whatsoever.

You're probably correct. We should beat LaPorte, Deer Park, and Sterling. We wont beat North Shore. His presence in those games wont effect the outcome. On the flipside, if he is able to play, let him get some game time so he's ready to go come playoffs. Just my thoughts.
