  1. Past hour
  2. Good luck, Dogs. Having the home field should certainly help when the teams are that far apart.
  3. TCU finished the game on a 28-11 run.
  4. Tarkington been changing drivers for a while with similar results. Time to look at the car and crew chief. What is one positive thing that Tarkington can offer to a potential coach? Poor pay? The worst resources in 4A for the entire state of Texas? Talent deficit?
  5. Coach Brittain has refused to give a progress report saying it is a violation of law to do so with a minor but I assume he's out for the season. He was having such a good season as a senior that I don't know what this will do for his college recruiting. It's a shame that the 2nd string guy, Trey Gardner, is also out for the season as he could use the experience as he will probably be the starter next year.
  6. Final TCU 78 Lamar 65 they cover the spread by a hook lol
  7. Really like that kid. He competes his butt off every time I have watched him play . Really impressed me at the fall league this year. I am a fan
  8. Today
  9. Broken collar bone I believe I read before the La Porte game.

  11. So what should be the course of action? Does the school just stay the course? We’ve literally regressed since Taylor left for Hardin. We’ve gone from back to back 4 win seasons (which is a good year for Tarkington let’s be honest) to now winless again.
  12. They met their goal. Let them celebrate for a few days 🤣
  13. Like you said, it will take some major reshuffling with many more schools in the GHA coming in to 5AD1 than leaving, I think maybe 3 teams will be dropping down, NC Porter (1831) Kempner (1813) and Kingwood Park which I haven't seen a number for yet. I don't think Iowa Colony has enough yet for D1. These are the schools in the GHA new to 5AD1 that seem to have 5AD1 numbers: Spring Westfiield (2145) FB Dulles (2132) FB Hightower (2220) LC Randle (2021) LC Foster (2227) LC George Ranch (2217) GC Memorial (2202) New Caney (2051) Katy Freeman (2066) South Houston (2063) Possibly Manvel (2243) So if the DCTF numbers are accurate, there will be a net gain of 7 or more schools in the GHA in D1. Of course the majority of District 10 (mostly HISD) have below 5AD1 numbers, but the UIL, I feel pretty sure will continue to let them opt up.
  14. Hope that moral victory carries well into the off season cause after Friday its basketball time!
  15. To finish the season ranked in the top 10 in the state is a very nice accomplishment for all of the teams that made it. Now it's one game at a time, either win or go home and hang the gear up 'til next season.
  16. That's about 29% more passing than a few years ago, with not too too much exaggeration. Every now and then they'll break one free for a long gain. Their half time show was interesting though as I recall, for whatever that's worth, as well as the student section sitting next to the band, which is typically pretty good. Hope for no injuries.
  17. Eleven….that’s what I call him. Lol
  18. Is y'all's QB out for the year? Also, even though CS has had a down year by their standards, they played in a good district and will be prepared. I think this will be a very good game.
  19. Predictions came out and Stepp has La Porte winning State. Weiss, Lufkin, Anderson, PAM, Smithson Valley, and Aledo?? Y'all certainly would have earned it lol.
  20. Subsidies were greatly expanded by the Biden administration during the COVID-19 pandemic as an emergency measure, but Democrats have fought to keep them permanent. Those subsidies went mostly to Democratic donors. [Hidden Content] @Big girl @UT alum @DCT @Boyz N Da Hood
  21. I'm trying to picture Eleven with a funky mustache, and slicked back hair. The only thing that keeps popping into my head is Jon Lovitz burning himself with the car lighter in Rat Race.
