I agree. Lufkin doesn't throw the ball vertical and rely too much on Waters, bubble screens, tunnel screens. Lufkin plays like they are scared of their QB. Lufkin defense is pretty good.

La Porte has a lot more depth than I realized this year, and they're bringing up some talented freshman & sophomores. Had some go out with what appeared to be minor issues. Some appeared to be pulled for precautionary moves because they wanted to come back in and coaches wouldn't allow. Smart move if you want an extended season like they're hoping. Friendswood is big again. Good team. They had some drops that could have made a difference in the momentum of the game. But, LP still had their number. They look like a good lock for 3 seed IMHO right now. Their game against Crosby next week should be the decider. LP looks to be at least 2 deep (quality players) at every position except PK. If they can find a way to incorporate the #3 & 4 RB's into the short passing game like Sandolph last year, this O could be even more potent. Right now, Smith is stretching the field, and 14 (Godbolt-Carr) is more of the wing back/intermediate receive, and doing well.

Were you the main star in the smurfs movie? Or maybe it was the trolls series...Yep, definitely the trolls. I believe there's a scene in the movie that has your character acting so passive aggressive that it makes the movie goers sick to their stomach. lol I can only imagine how hard it is to look at. It's absolutely gut wrenching to listen to on the live stream. Maybe the defensive coordinator needs to throw all assignments out the window, tell them to line up, see kid with ball and tackle kid with ball. Stop overthinking it!

Fact is 2025 BU football has had a couple of glaring weaknesses and PNG was the first to expose it. Here we are 3 weeks later and it haven’t been addressed. PA did what they were supposed to do and run us off the field. At this point, halfway through the season, I’m convinced they won’t be addressed. This was utterly embarrassing and many seem to be ok with this. It’s so much I can say, but I’ll refrain. All I know is this bye week couldn’t come soon enough…

I’m glad it’s at BH, but PAM is on fire right now. I usually expect them to blow a game by now. You know like a head scratcher, but they have been solid. BH would have to be perfect.

The guy who has consistently been the best edge guy this year didn't play at all first half and played only a couple snaps second half. Another talented sophmore disappeared again after missing the first 2 games and playing limited snaps the last 2. I seen one of the edge guys that were out there have a chance to get a sack but instead chose to cut back inside. Looked like he was just being a robot and doing what he was taught to do. It's hard to look at

I agree nobody should have had them winning the game. But nobody should have had them losing 62-0.

No excuses, they played good enough to win, just too many big play mistakes and turnovers that took them out of the game. This is stuff they can correct and move on, they play hard, good system, good kids, just got to move forward and keep after it. Oh, and film showed the two Touchdowns called back were phantom calls, go figure

D was revamped. Brought up another Freshman (17) who is every bit a shut down DB. 1’s only gave up 1 TD. QB’s platooned. Didn’t seem to hurt flow of O at all. Saenz also was punting—and did well—so teams will have to be wary of fakes. Simon was in beast mode, with well over 250 & 5 TD’s. He sat in the 4th. He should have close to 1,000 on the season already. Ruffin got 139 & 1 TD before he sat early 1st half for precaution. It wasn’t close. They looked like the team they were supposed to be. Staff used the bye week to do a lot of retooling. Good win. Especially with the Homecoming distractions.
