WOS vs Jasper - Friday 7:30 @ LAMAR

I saw both games yesterday.  Jasper and wos looked very similar. Strong against the run, untested through the air and both their offenses struggled to piece drives together.    Neither team showed much explosiveness, but that speaks to the quality of the opponents as well.

It is truly a toss-up imo, but Jasper losing 42 was a huge hit last night.

I saw them both too but WOS looked faster and more physical. I also thought Sweeny was a lot tougher opponent than BV. But I know the Barbay’s will have a great game plan ready for the Mustangs.

Lol. Both teams have already faced each other, Wos fans seem to have gotten a case of amnesia. I am glad wos is recieving the hype it will only force Jasper to play as if they’re the underdog which inevitably will mean we’ll play our best.

Get your coach to agree upon a venue, there are no advantages at this point in the season.

Not a WOS fan and don’t have amnesia either, quite the opposite. Being from Coldspring I am a huge fan of the coaching staff at Jasper. That being said I am just stating what I personally saw at both games. It is also really tough to beat a team as good as WOS twice even if they are supposedly having a down year. A lot also depends on the WOS QB’s injury status going into next week. Hopefully we will find out soon where and when this game will be played.

And don’t think CT won’t have a plan together, this is business as usual for WOS. This is not the same team they saw predistrict.

The Bulldogs are rookies at this level of place in the playoffs, just pick a venue so people can make their  plans to attend. It's not rocket science.

I can promise you Jasper coaches are far from rookies.  In fact a rookie would have already given in to the normal typical demands the wos coaches think they are entitled too.

I’m just saying we lost to y’all by 11 points. With a healthy Hunt he ran for over 300 yards.  Even if he gets cleared this week he won’t be 100%.  And now you are down another running back.  We have improved on defense since then.  I don’t think our QB will be back to play.  At best he would be cleared Friday for contact.  So it will be interesting to see how both teams overcome the injuries.

A lot of people here would like to hear the demands you speak of?had he answered the phone last week we would have had a nice venue to play in....pick a damn location already,he should have learned in 2013 the location doesn’t make you an instant winner!

No way Jasper wants the game in Sulpher that would be a home game for WOS but it does make me curious to know if a TX playoff game has ever been hosted across state lines. Surly not.

Yep that’s why I wanted it in a Sulphur. Not to far from the house and they got a good seafood restaurant there lol

    • Well, the ones who are upset by this are the same ones who can’t define a woman. There was another woman who everybody came down on for hunting. We are a nation of the offended.
    • For what it’s worth, polling after this came out show her with an 81% disapproval rating.  Only 21% of republicans said she’d be a good choice for veep, and only 28% of self-identified “very conservative” voters said she’s a good option.  Bragging about killing a dog apparently resonates poorly across political affiliations.
    • They don’t, and they won’t.  May not be an issue in South Dakota, but certainly is on the national stage.  Even my mother in law, who strictly watches OAN and thinks Trump is a great guy who’s never committed a crime in his life is completely disgusted by this.  I know about bad dogs, and don’t have an issue with what she did,  and I’m sure most of us on here agree.  But as is often this case, it’s not going to be our opinions that decide this election.  I thought she might be a valuable running mate that could bring in the female vote, but I’m hoping Trump has the sense to stay away from her now.
    • I like the approach, here it is, if you don’t like it don’t vote for me, it’s refreshing to see the Ronald Reagan approach. Not every statement needs to be based on a perceived reaction from folks. Don’t think for a minute democrats didn’t have this knowledge, just not the right time to use it, remember Romney and the dog carrier, they knew.
    • The year after he left DC spell had them boys physical… beat Roschon Johnson and the Indians at home. They were roughing him up all night long.
