Yes Devon came out early in the fourth because his knee I believe was bothering him.  As far as scoring, he isn't necessarily going to score a lot.  He can or will when needed but he is mainly going to get everyone involved.  I for one have been looking for him to get his outside shot going but do realize that the bulk of his scoring is going to be getting to the basket and he will do tha when needed. Right now we are playing well in spurts but winning more on talent.  When this team gets it all together it will be really exciting.

He didn't take any shots?

He took shots he is a Lil off I've watched him since he started playing even coached him have never seen him miss layups like the past two games he is in a funk right now but he still making plays with defense and rebounding and pretty assist think it shows how well rounded of a player he is but if he ever worked and got a pull up you talking bout scary

h j gave silsbee all they had unfortunately they have no true dominate big man. they will be fine In their district but the playoffs will be a different story.  Hadn't seen many of the underneath games but I've heard it some size on the jv and 9th grade teams maybe a few of them will get a look soon. Size would definitely help.

I'd like to see Landon Tyler play a little more. Lots of talent there. Is he just a Sophomore?

Imo, Landyn is probably the most underrated player on the roster.  He and Bush always played extremely well together prior to HS and "fed" off each other well.  Like Bush, I love his energy and intensity at both ends of the floor.  On every other team in the district, he would be a starter and one of the best players on the team.  He will be a big part of the Tigers future for sure.

Was the guy referring to the total history of Silsbee vs HJ in basketball?  I know Silsbee has dominated lately, but I'd be curious to see the overall results.  Both have good programs.

Record of head to head since these two teams were put in same district back in '06-'07 season:

                               HJ                         Silsbee

'07                           2                              1

'08                           2                               2

'09                           1                               2

'10                           1                               2

'11                           0                               2

'12                           1                               1

'13                           0                               2

'14                           0                               2

'15                           1                               1

'16                           0                               2

'17                           0                               1

total                         8 wins                      18 wins

HJ won 4 of the first 6 games. But since then, Silsbee has gone 16-4 in the series, winning 12 of last 14 games.

Thanks.  More lopsided than I would've thought.  And not much let up in sight.
