Yes… Witnesses, statements, a statement by the person accused, video or photographs, fingerprints or anything else will determine the outcome.
Just for a point of law and I would not want to be there, you do not have to prove self-defense. If you make a claim of self-defense and bring up any evidence allowed into court to support that claim, the state (DA) then has the burden to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that it was not self-defense.
It is called a defense to prosecution. 

There are so many what if questions. A single sentence can change a justified shooting into Murder or vice versa. 
 The law is specific in what crimes justify deadly force in order to recover property if the suspect is actually fleeing with the property.
Those crimes are Burglary (breaking into a residence or building), Robbery, Aggravated Robbery and Theft if the theft occurs in the nighttime. Those four crimes alone, justify deadly force to stop a person from getting away with property. It is not to be confused with other crimes where deadly force could be used to stop the crime from being committed such as Arson or Sexual Assault.
I am talking just running or driving away with the property. For example, if somebody steals your kid’s bicycle from the front yard in the daylight and there are no other facts (like he threatened to kill you), can you lawfully use deadly force to get the bicycle back? In my opinion and the way I read the law, absolutely not. That would likely be Murder. 
So while we are playing what if, what if you chase him and as you get close to him and he still has the bicycle, he pulls a pocket knife out and threatens to kill you? At that point the misdemeanor Theft during the daylight, just became an Aggravated Robbery. Aggravated Robbery is one of the four specific crimes that possibly justify the use of deadly force to get property back….. IF… IF, you reasonably believed that the property could not reasonably be recovered by other means  OR…. an attempt to get the property back would expose you to an unreasonable risk of serious injury or death.
That is the problem with making blanket statements but if you want to get on Facebook, get ready for the blanket statements.
So not legal advice but generally what the law appears to say to me about using deadly force only to protect property after doing it for 38 years…
IF a person is committing one of the four specifically mentioned crimes AND IF the person is escaping with property AND IF a person reasonably appears that he would get away without recovering the property OR IF attempting to recover, the property, would expose you to serious injury or death….
 Then it is likely justified. All of the AND and AND IF situations must be covered. They are not mutually exclusive.
1. 4 crimes and,   
2. escaping with property and,   
3. not reasonably likely to recover the property by other means or,   
    The recovery would expose you to serious injury or death.
Clear as mud? 
We could probably sit here and think up of 100 different situation.

We've grown our staff on the editorial side over the last three years and added to our sales team as well.
We will see if this new approach works but I can tell you over the past ten years margins on the retail side have consistently dropped as the marketplace as changed and the consumer base is more tech savvy.

Yep and it's my understanding that because he chose A&M, he will be staying for his entire senior year and will play basketball this season for Silsbee.

Ashly reported on everything from High School to little league he will be missed from that aspect but on top of that he is a world class human being and in my experience that's rare in the media world 

I think you're being too kind with the "generally weaker region" comment. That is a much bigger factor when comparing the success of these programs imo.

It is highly uncommon for a freshman to start at QB at any level. It is also uncommon for freshman to start on varsity as freshman in other positions. You should do a roster check and see what the percentage of "freshman starting and winning on varsity" is for the area. I suspect it be in the range of 3-6% at 3A and close to zero in 4A. 
If you believe a "backup left guard" can play QB and go .500, you have revealed your own ignorance regarding football. We can let everyone else read your comments and draw their own conclusions.

The main problem is, many parents can't see that their kid is not college football material and they are dumbfounded when their child doesn't get a scholarship. It's not always a "lack of promotion by coaches" issue, it's a "my kid isn't good enough" problem.

I know both of these Athletes personally and I will say this about them both! They made the best decision for themselves and for their personal goals. Neither of these players needed anyone elses opinion on the decision they felt was best for them. It completely blows my mind that so many people are so vocal and what a player should or should not do. Maybe we need to have everyone post on their upcoming possible promotion at their job and we can VOTE on if that is a great decision or not for you. If you decide to take it then we will rake you and your family across the community boards on how that was not the best decision for the community or the program.
  I also sit in the stands and so many of our fans are so negative and out right disrespectful to majority of the players for so many reasons. When I hear and see so many the funny thing is they never even played sports in High School. absolutely breathtaking!
  Noah and Gage are leaving our school in just a few weeks and they will be representing their Hometown School and it truly sucks that there are those that feel like they let our football program down because they chose the best pathway for their DREAM! Maybe just maybe, everyone can finally be honest and focus on the real issues with Big Ned! It starts from the top and I am not speaking on the AD! Starts higher than that!!!
