    my understanding is that Smith is the only 2025 Jasper graduate that will be attending college, period.

    I've heard things come out of your mouth that were way off the mark. But this is the pinnacle of CB quotes. At least until you're next wave of nonsense spews out. Get a towel and clean yourself up before u decide to reply. It's embarrassing bro

    These accolades are for the 22-23 school year. Not this past football season. If that helps.

    I don't think so. Looking back to the winners last year. Coach Joseph won. He wasn't coaching PNG in 21-22 school year. These awards have to be for the actual 2023 year. And I beleive @pine curtain is right about it too. Another coach that went further into the playoffs and over achieved should have won.

    Violations occur all the time.  Even by moderators.  I'm not admitting anything was violated.  Just someones opinion.  I may have to start making copies of violations, including moderators.  This "selective" concern has been a problem here.  I already have a copy of 2 moderators and a non-moderator violating the "stay on topic" rule but only the non-moderator got "warned."  At this time I have chose not to do anything with this difference in treatment.  Was this subject locked because of violations, which again, happens all the time, or because the moderator was being called out for being guilty of rule violations himself?  Again, not picking on one:  all moderators have been guilty of rule violations.

    @AggiesAreWe

    If u feel that members/mods have broken the rules, there is a report button. That is the extent of your responsibility for the policing the forum.

    With that being said... the topic has been locked without any reason given. And this is acceptable. There are several reasons for locking that particular discussion. I would've done the same thing.

    Thank you for your continued contributions to the site. Carry on...

    lol the same coach who put his team in jeopardy of not going to semis with the way the last 3-4 minutes of regulation was handled vs Carthage. Literally.

    got bailed out by a great play to cause fumble by Carthage qb.. in overtime.

    Thanks for breaking this down.  It's actually worst than I thought.  I say at any one time, there's less than 10% Elite coaches.  Didn't realize how much less.  With my category of Elite coaches, there is right now only 1.5% active coaches that are Elite.  When you add those with only one Title that comes up to 3.6%.  Like I've said, if it was easy then every coach would have about 10.  If it's talent only then this percentage should be dramatically increased.  One would think anyway!  Contrary to what some here think, a coach has to have the "it" factor to eventually become Elite!

    6 coaches on the list took more than 7 years. And I believe 9 of the 1x Champs have the potential to meet your Elite requirement of winning a 2nd within the 7 year time frame. Including 3 from this past season... A Metzel (Gilmer), R Jones (Aledo), J Joseph (PNG)

    That's the issue, they are leaving and they are DANG good teachers - They're even taking pay cuts to get away from a certian principal.

    That's been happening for over 20 years. The good ones can't seem to stay. Some of my teachers from the 90s are at LCM, EC, OF and PNG.

    I have several friends who are teachers there and the leadership he brought over with him and who hes hired have been AWFUL to their employees!

    I'm actually not worried about how the teachers are treated. They have a choice to leave anytime. But if it rolls downhill like most stuff does, then the kids are hurting from this too. That's my only concern.
