Westerberg didnt have Kyler but Allen was still unreal after he left...14-1, 16-0, 14-1 in Gambill's first three years....Westerberg definitely wanted the paycheck at BH, but Allen is such a meat grinder now...I think he was just tired of managing a job like that....last two BH coaches have departed under what most would say are less than amicable terms....very interesting situation...they'll still get a good coach because they do pay well, they do have good facilities and a good set up..but a lot of candidates will be turned off also

North Crowley probably had the best individual crowd of anyone at the games.....Westlake's crowds are always mediocre...as was Vandegrift...it was really the 2 5A games that killed the crowds...

I'd call Jacody Coleman at Dallas Skyline and see if he's ready to come home...problem is I don't think he'd even consider going back unless a ton of changes were made in Bmt ISD and I just don't see that

Woodville had an amazing run, defense played well enough to win a state title....offense and special teams not so much.... OL got destroyed and there's not much offense you can run when your QB is running for his life immediately and you can't run the ball... A couple of guys went out early for Woodville and that didn't help. Coach Robinson is a guy who speaks his mind and wears his heart on his sleeve I'm sure in the moment he was disappointed...if you listen to his post game comments he said the right things and seemed gracious in defeat

That's a tough kick for a HS kid in Week 1 in the 1st Qtr after a timeout Much less in the state championship game, as time is running out on a fire drill

SOC horribly mismanaged the end of half situations

I think it just shows they aren't throwing many flags but consistently

Woodville seemed to have a great crowd last week.....I bet the town is over the moon about this run

Gunter's two losses are to 5A Anna (who lost in Rd 3) and 4A-D1 #1 Celina....they've done what they always do to 3A-D2 teams and thats blow them out. Now Wall is intriguing because of how bad they beat Canadian, but Gunter even losing their best player last week should still cruise
