Actually we've been doing that for a few years now and we haven't lied about that. Holding magazines from going to stores enables an additional subscriber benefit that we want to offer to our customers. I was intentionally obtuse about the after July 4th date because there's really no way to know exactly when stores will receive them from distributors. Printing magazines and getting them to stores is much more costly than it used to be, there's a lot of middlemen involved and they no longer offer rebates on unsold inventory... Hopefully they'll be in stores soon, I enjoy going to HEB and seeing them on the racks

Correct the site I believe just says after July 4 which is pretty open ended. It could be on store shelves today, could be in two weeks..its hard to know for sure Retail distribution is just not near as profitable as it once was, it's just the reality of doing business in 2024...we either adapt or go the way of other print media

I've been very careful to say after July 4. Two things to remember 1) once they ship from the distributor its out of our hands, they get picked up and delivered to retail outlets and then it's really dependent on when their vendor comes in and puts them put. 2) Retail distribution is more limited now, it will be harder to find because there are fewer magazines distributed

Lufkin did find a Week 3 games against Little Rock Southwest Fri 9/13 in Texarkana.. 2024 game will be played under UIL rules, 2025 the game will be played under Federation rules Southwest was 2-7 a year ago, enrollment just over 2,000

For context you are somewhat correct that most people are right most of the time with the caveat that if you stay in their particular geographic area. The average fan's acumen drops off significantly the further from home they get. I'll speak for myself and myself only, but I am proud of the work I've done and I've worked hard over my career to put the time in to learn about the entire state 6A on down to 2A. Even before I worked for DCTF I've spent thousands of dollars out of my own pocket to travell to games in every corner of the state to try and get a feel for the teams etc....thankfully that grind got me in a spot today where my travel now is covered but there's been a lot of sweat equity put into this thing

If we are wrong I'll absolutely still be here and will take any and all criticism that comes our way, (we always do). The question is if you are wrong will you come back and remind me that we got it right? Thats the funny thing about the internet, everyone wants to remind you about the times you are wrong, but when we get their team right for a lower ranking etc people seem to conveniently forget about that lol

Lufkin should finish no worse than 2nd IMO...they have a very good group back and some good young talent coming

We actually use a computer model for the pre-season state rankings, once the season begins we use the human element for state rankings. Everyone has opinions on rankings and that's fine, I promise you I do more homework than most. I didnt get to the place I'm at today by being wrong most of the time.

I am actually more speaking on myself than the brand, since as I stated I wrote the capsule for Woodville. We all have opinions and you are certianly entitled to it

Putting Jacob Hunter was just a mistake, by the person who did the superlatives....its not the writer didnt have a clue, because I wrote the capsule for Woodville personally...if you dont think I have a clue that's OK but I feel like I have at least some sort of clue on things

Confirmed with Coach Berneathy yesterday LaPorte's three home games will be in Deer Park...he said they are holding out hope maybe the stadium can be ready for the final scheduled home game vs Pasadena
