Huntsville is very good and they were desperate...sky isn't falling in Nederland...TCB next week and you are the one seed with a very manageable first round game

Huntsville is such a high ceiling/low floor team...on their best day they can beat literally anyone...but they can lose to a lot of teams on a bad day

SOC isn't what they were in 21 or 22 IMO, but this years team is better than last years team

Just saying Anderson can put points up and could be tricky in Rd 1 for a team doesn't have a strong defense

Austin Anderson is a dangerous 4 seed because they can score...D1 QB and WR

Teams can certianly take a second bye week if they choose...Duncanville has done it last 3 years and Stephenville has done it in the past as well..I cant see them adding a week because you'd either have to start a week earlier which pushes practice into July or push the season past Christmas which the UIL has no appetite for

Ok 8-5A D2 has a positive pts only system with a cap of 18 and they revert back H2H... So let's say form holds and Nederland & PNG win out, we get a 3 way tie between Huntsville, Montgomery and Lake Creek... Montgomery would be 3rd due to +18 Revert back H2H for Huntsville Lake Creek and Lake Creek gets 4th Huntsville has to beat Nederland to get in at this point...they really can't get in with 3 losses unless Lake Creek loses one they aren't supposed to

This district is crazy...4 teams for 5 spots.... I feel like Nederland and PNG are relatively secure in at least getting in... Huntsville, Montgomery and Lake Creek could all wind up tied with 3 losses...if that happens I think Huntsville would get in and Montgomery would be the 4 but I need to confirm

NCAA rules won't allow him to be on a baseball scholarship since he's on a football scholarship. There's levels to it depending on how good you are...Williams is a 5-star, those guys don't get scholarships pulled for much outside of criminal activities
