You’re correct.  And while it’s not the only thing, the fact that it’s been pushed high on the Socialist agenda indicates how much it’ll help their efforts.  And yes old buddy, it is a sad commentary.  An extremely sad commentary.  A sign of the end being near?  Wouldn’t go that far, but I wouldn’t discount it out of hand either.

Indeed.  WOS was transformed overnight to a mediocre team.  And regardless of what some may think, that wasn’t the Jimmies and the Joes.  

I almost fell out of my chair.  I asked the folks I was with when the young man finished, “did we actually just have a prayer at a major college football game.” (LSU was playing Bama).  And the fact that it was so shocking is a sad commentary on our society.  I tend to agree with my buddy @Hagar and wonder how many of society’s ills can be traced to this absence.  And while I do believe in separation of church and state (everyone should have right to choose their own religion or no religion), we are also  supposed to be “one nation under God.”   And a non-denominational prayer at Death Valley was unbelievably refreshing. 

I agree there is toxicity.  And yes Trump has brought some of that on himself, but media has played a major role in that as well.  Do we actually think that is gonna change with desantis or any other candidate from here on out.  Liberal policies are extreme and anyone who opposes such policies will be labeled as everything negative.  Media controls the narrative because to many mis informed voters are to lazy or are just that forgone to the liberal way and buy in hook line and sinker.
 

Mine either, he'll get my vote again if he's the Republican nominee because he'll be way better for the country than anyone on the democrat side.
That is a fact, there's no debate over it, and still, uninformed "swing" voters will vote to the detriment of the country based on feelings.
 

Prayers for those families.  And speaking of prayers, I recently went to an LSU football game and they had a “moment of reflection” where a student prayed over the stadium speaker system before the game.  Gotta tell you, there weren’t many sober in that stadium that night but the fact they still pray before games?  I became more of a Tiger fan that night.

If you compare Lumberton to Chapel Hill against common opponents (Livingston and Palestine) Lumberton has outscored  CH and held the opponents to less points in both games. Someone said the CH Livingston game wasn't actually as close as the score showed because they played back ups but so did Lumberton. Just saying....

Just don’t overlook these guys Raiders.  Put this one in the hip pocket.  Let’s win this thing and continue to move on.

only because I know more people are here in this forum tonight is why I am posting here. to be completely honest with everyone I do think there is a higher power but I have not in my life known that that the power of prayer works. At the moment I am so worried, scared, sick and probably not right in my mind more so than any point on my life, so I reaching out to people in every way I know how.
My wife of 18 years is at Emergency Room in Jasper and has been put in a coma type state while waiting for a bed in ICU in Beaumont.  Thus far the diagnosis is congestive heart failure and blood clot in lungs.
that said, people if you can/ will please a prayer that she will be OK.  I don't know that this is appropriate to come here but I thought it wouldn't hurt.
