The thing that annoys me is that people on the left 100% believe that they are all victims of “systemic racism” while being unable to point at a single policy that puts them at a disadvantage because of their race in 2020. “Jim Crow, slavery, Tulsa, and redlining!” they all yell, but can point at nothing but results (“there are more blacks in prison for murder”) as proof of racism, when the result is actually a result of poor choices, not racism, arguably. 
We can, however, point at policy after policy that actually do exist in 2022 that put whites at a disadvantage because of THEIR race…. Not opinions, not long-gone policies, not just “results” passed off as proof of wrong… actual policies. 
Everything from discrimination in the hiring process under the guise of  “promoting diversity” to special consideration in the college admissions process, academic scholarships exclusively for minority beneficiaries, to taxes aimed solely at white people (the excise tax on tanning booth fees), to being protected in the workplace by EEOC regulations, to white people being punished more harshly when committing the same crimes (“hate crime” legislation) to being given preference in stupid reality tv contests (cbs announcing that they will feature 50% minority contestants on their programs) to the current President announcing that he would be choosing a black woman as his running mate… even if she is woefully and obviously under qualified… 
Black people have far more advantages in America in 2022, yet some will sit in their big houses, boast about their education and that of their kids, and believe that they are still a victim of the system. 

I see your question to the liberals is being ignored.  But, they are all over some trading cards and reparations.  They don’t care to be bothered with real issues facing America.

Dems sure seem to take care of non-citizens, more than their own.  

What about the descendants of white people who lost their lives fighting to free your ancestors? Should they receive reparations, too?
What about the people who legally purchased and bred slaves, only to have them freed without compensation? Should those families receive reparations? What about the people whose property and fortunes were destroyed in the war to free the slaves… shouldn’t you be obligated to make their descendants whole today?
Reparations are a good idea only to the simple minded and those who want the votes of the simple minded. 
 
The problem with reparations is this… the federal government can’t give anything to anybody without first taking it from someone else.  So what you are really arguing is that your neighbors deserve to have things taken from them and given to you… that you never earned and therefore don’t deserve.   And if your neighbor doesn’t agree with you, it’s because he’s  white, uneducated, and disenfranchised. 
 
You’ve been lied lied to your whole life. Nobody owes any of us anything… never has, never will.

Is there another country in the Americas rhat is more important?  Why can’t you say American?  The name of our country is The United States of America.  We are identified by the country we are from.  People from Brazil will tell you they are Brazilians, not South Americans.  This nonsense is coming from a university in the liberal cesspool state of California.  We just need to ignore all things California.

Yes… the fact that  he is black makes him unique.  Most of his black peers are not similarly situated.  Your son is unique. In a community that believes that “the only way out” is via a 🔥mixtape or becoming a professional athlete, and academics are largely ignored by kids and parents alike… they are both unique. 
 
But instead of celebrating the efforts and accomplishments made by the unique young people (and their parents who did a great job) you stand back and say “well, it was in spite of being ____…. The system failed everybody else.”
When OJ Simpson was found not guilty in the 1990s, black people celebrated widely… “finally… a black man got a fair trial in America” was the thought. I was like “no, finally a black man had enough money to afford a top notch defense…. His race is irrelevant, but the fact that he is black makes his success unique.”
Here’s the thing… you are walking, talking proof that success in America is possible for anybody. You’re not wrong… you probably are doing better than a lot of the people on this board. But you stand around and recite all of the mantras that absolve the black community of any responsibility for their own shortcomings instead of recognizing that what you’ve done isn’t hard, it’s common sense, good parenting, hard work and sound decisions. It has to be tough for you because it flies in the face of what you’ve been taught and I’m certain that your community as a whole doesn’t want to hear it… that’s something that I don’t experience. 

Corruption at its finest.  And to think, there are those that are more concerned with trading cards and reparations!
