Big girl

I knew all along that this day was important. I just thought because it was the start of the college football season. It dawned on me last night when they played a preview of the game and she started hinting around about what I have planned for Thursday.

I just figured out that my 10 year anniversary is Thursday. A&M kicks off at 5pm so this presents a huge problem.


Options

1. Take her out after the game. If the game goes bad I'll be in a bad mood and probably pretty drunk.
2. Take her somewhere nice this weekend. I'm currently working on this, but I think she still wants to hang out with me on the actual day.
3. Buy a big present, tell her I'm a man and I'm watching football.


That's all I got so far. Any tips or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Once he made his sexuality public he should NOT have been drafted in the first place. To do so, would only suggest (in our PC world) that he was securing his future knowing the current atmoshere.
 
If someone had "come out" stating their heterosexual status, wold that have mattered, or made the news, or secured him being drafted or making the team - NO
 
This is no different than making something about race to secure (or at least try to) the outcome you are looking for by "scaring" people due to the "sensitivity" of said subject.

Other than Stevenash is making a comparison of Brown to Trayvon without enough facts to substantiate a comparison, I don't see the harm in the comment...

The facts are not ALL out yet.
Who KNOWS what really happened at this point?
Until more conclusive findings and evidence come out, what are we really talking about here?

Can a white cop murder a black kid in cold blood? Sure he can...

Can a black teen threaten a white cop to the point of being killed for it? Sure he can...

Everybody relax. We don't know what happened. Neither side should even be on a side at this point. But why are we? RACE!

This is a race issue - nothing more - nothing less. And, of course, all parties will NEVER see eye to eye on whatever the outcome is.

I don't know what else to say. The fact that the Brown supporters are rioting in the streets and decimating their own neighborhoods is STUPID! The fact that the officer's supporters are sending money to bolster his defense and make a statement to the other side is STUPID! Let there be more uncovered before we lose our minds. Then we can go to racially bashing each other with at least a few facts under our belts...

bs. I want the truth, there are so many rumors circulating around. If he attacked the cop or if he didn't I just want to know what happened.

The only side should be truth. Let the investigation play out. There are enough hands on the pie that everything will come out and nothing will be swept under the rug. TVC has said, and I second these types of investigations are very time consuming. This is just amazing to me. Things will drag now as reports are filed, witnesess are interviewed, test results are requested and so on. This flying off the handle and assumption the officer was wrong just doesn't fly. We shall see, and then whatever the truth is will be revealed.

I think we are having two different conversations.
 
I do think Michael went for the cops gun or was attempting to attack him.
 
All I am saying is when two people shoot at each other it is hard to be "outraged" if both parties shoot back.  The old saying it takes two to tango.
 
THIS situation has an armed white cop and an unarmed black man (he was not a child)...only one gun by one person was fired......some people are "outraged" because the unarmed black man did not have a weapon.

I think gun fire exchange is a little different that hand to hand.....I don't think there would be as much outrage if Michael would have fired a gun during the exchange.....so, apples and oranges
