When I worked at Bingman in BISD every child wore a seatbelt every time they were on the bus. Refusal to do so ended with them losing bus privileges. These were very young students, though.

agree. and i think it's absurd that we're mandating our border patrol agents be vaccinated, but then allowing illegal aliens the choice to be vaccinated or not.

I'm a Texas fan, and knew who she was through them, but I guess I somehow missed her playing career at BH. I wasn't as active on the boards for a few years, but I still am surprised I never realized she was from this area.

This is the best OF team in a long time, and one of the weaker WOS teams in quite awhile. That said, WOS just beat a Silsbee team by 25 that OF beat by 2, and I tend to believe Silsbee has the athleticism to match up better against WOS than OF does. I'm going to say WOS wins 33-17.

Coincidentally, I found a .22 projectile on our playground at HF about 3 weeks ago. I didn't think much of it because of where our school is located. But people definitely need to be aware of where their bullet could go.

I am able to see things from both sides, but I'll call out an argument that I disagree with. I've gone after the left AND the right on this site at times. TVC is just about as right as they come, but he'll criticize an erroneous article as well. If he says something I disagree with I'll call him out, but he doesn't just blindly post fake news articles like some of you guys. So we might disagree about issues sometimes (he's unvaccinated, for instance), but he's not on here spreading lies trying to convince people that the vaccine is less effective than it actually is. But as i've said about 50 times now, I'm pro-choice for vaccines. I'm just not pro-lie when it comes to discrediting them.

I feel the same way. But what a lot of people are ignoring is that there are anti-vaxxers out there becoming relevant and making a lot of money by using their platform to pander to the political beliefs of those who are against the vaccine... and i don't trust them either.

No. I’m happy to read the cliff notes if you’ll provide them. I know he got fired for spreading misinformation about COVID, and Baylor Scott & White Health had to take out a restraining order against him because he lied for months about his credentials and claimed to still work for them. The problem I have is you have an overwhelming majority of healthcare professionals, virologists, epidemiologists, doctors, etc. saying one thing. But one doctor with a platform says what a big group of people wants to hear, and all of a sudden he’s the expert and knows more than everyone else in the world. He’s not even a lung doctor. Kinda like the local gynecologist who was making videos on YouTube for awhile about the evils of the vaccine, and people were eating it up. Of course, I know for a fact he’s vaccinated now, and he deleted all the videos, but whatever.

I don’t think people who choose not to get vaccinated are sheep. I think people that read obviously false articles and believe every word are sheep. Especially when they blindly follow along without doing any type of research.
