  1. He did away with it to take attention away from the energy debacle during the winter storm
  2. This is actually a great point. The media really struggles when there isn't blame to be placed on the white man, and I hold this opinion despite certainly not falling in with the crazy far right who usually screams about the media. I can guarantee you if this story was dropping about Christian McCaffery he would already be completely cancelled from the league, and liberals would be lined up with their pitchforks and safety pins. All that being said, as to the case itself, I think you hit the nail on the head. With this many women coming forward, there are no doubt some people looking for a payout, but also almost certainly some women who've been sexually assaulted. I'm sure considering who he is, and also the fact that these are "instagram masseuses", he also probably gets a lot of consensual action using this technique, and some of those willing participants have now turned into speculative gold diggers. The real issue I have is that these "victims" are going through civil court without ever going to the police, and their lawyer contacted the accused in an effort to secure a monetary settlement before going public with accusations. It's obviously a money grab, but again, almost a certainty that he's acted inappropriately numerous times.
  3. The article does not explicitly say that, but it feels pretty obvious considering the wealth of other options she had to conduct business (drive thru, online, in the parking lot, etc), combined with the scene she made. Once you add the fact that she got arrested a few days later in a home depot in a different town for the exact same reason, and I think all doubts to her motive can be erased.
  4. How so? Honest question. A business shouldn't have the right to refuse service to someone who won't follow their rules?
  5. They would've been able to accommodate her through the drive thru, online, or likely even in the parking lot. JMO, getting her money out and closing the account wasn't why she was there.
  6. Man, you're dense. She does NOT HAVE TO BREAK A LAW TO BE ASKED TO LEAVE PRIVATE PROPERTY. It's been asked and answered 14 times. My 8-year-old has better comprehension skills.
  7. you're delusional. you sound exactly like the liberals who say stuff like "he was murdered by police for selling a little weed" about some criminal who gets shot by police after resisting arrest and pulling out a weapon when they try and arrest him for selling a little weed. she wasn't arrested for trying to get her money out of the bank. she was arrested for trespassing in an attempt to make a political statement. she's a moron. quit apologizing for her stupidity.
  8. because for some it becomes incurable? I know (knew) 3 people that died before getting a chance to take the vaccine. And these weren't feeble 85-year-olds wasting away in nursing homes.
  9. Sues them for what, exactly? Enforcing rules in their private business? Getting hurt while resisting arrest for trespass in their private business? I don't follow. She has several other options to get her money out of the bank. She was not there for that purpose, she was there trying to become a martyr. It's refreshing that for once only the simplest minded are supporting her, and that most folks with any common sense at all think she's a moron.
  10. not sure how i missed this before... but in response to the title of the thread: no, you wouldn't.
  11. Man, knew it was coming, but it's still hard to believe. RIP Mr. Davis.
  12. Unlucky the way the horns lost that, but they played like crap and deserved to lose
  13. Texas playing like crap. 22 turnovers. Down 3 with under a minute left
  14. Heck of a season, HH. Nothing to hold your head about.
  15. Better quarter for HH, but they had a chance to get into halftime down 6-8 and gave up a few late. 11 points is a giant deficit against a ball control team like argyle
  16. Harvey with a tough game so far. Finally hit a three, hopefully it gets him going. He’s forcing things today instead of letting the game come to him. Which he probably honestly has to do if they have a chance
  17. Getting ugly. Problem is I have a feeling argyle has a couple of Harveys. Also a couple of Soileaus
  18. BU given a second chance after blowing the first one. Let’s go boys!
  19. Unfortunate. BU missed a layup to go up 16 and then they go down and hit a 3 to cut it to 11. 8-0 run by kimball to the end the half down 9. BU was close to putting it away early, but kimball right back in it now
  20. Wow, wish i would've watched this one. Hard to believe Texline was able to bounce back after giving up that 17-2 run to start the fourth.
  21. I want Huffman to win, i just don't see it happening. Argyle is so much better than anything Huffman has seen all year, and Argyle has beaten several elite teams.
  22. disappointing. HJ gave this away late. To be fair, HJ had the best player, but Canyon looked like a little better team.
  23. poor decision making by HJ there. Going into the press HJ under minimal pressure gives the ball to a non-ball handler to break the press, leads to a quick turnover. then a lazy pass on the ensuing inbounds leads to another. HJ had this game almost in the bag. Literally make it past midcourt on that first possession and they're likely up 5 or 6 with under a minute left. instead they're down 2 in the blink of an eye.
