I was pulling for HH (pickems), but had no dog in the fight. It sure seemed shady to me. vidor got a massive 15-yd penalty out of frustration over it, and kept getting knocked out of rhythm. That said, I doubt it made much of a difference. Hard to drive most of the field running the ball with 1:30 left.

The clock keeper is trying to screw the pirates. One of the pirate linemen said a no-no to the ref and got 15 yds for it. I understand the frustration.

Yeah, my main takeaway is that people’s willingness to go along with bucking authority (or propensity to criticize those doing so) is generally pretty whimsical based on their own personal beliefs.

That's a whole lot better point than most on here are going to be willing to admit.

The dems are legitimately trying to pay illegal aliens for hardships incurred while breaking our laws. It would be like me paying someone a settlement for the trouble they went through after getting caught breaking into my house. It's mind blowing.

It's seldom that politicians do stuff that truly infuriates me. I might strongly disagree with something, but understand that it's part of the other side's belief systems. That said, this angers me almost to the point of speechlessness, and I can assure you that I have more liberal views when it comes to immigration that 90% of the posters in the politics forum. We're going to give a family of 3 more money than most americans will earn in their entire adult careers for being separated when arrested while crossing the border? This is literally the most insane thing I've ever heard come out of a president's mouth. How about they pay the US for the cost of processing them and taking care of their children when they crossed over illegally? The only positive here is that if this actually happens there will be a resounding majority for republicans in the house and senate at the midterms (probably will be, anyway), and a republican president in a couple of years.

alright, just so we're clear, this "news story" is from a fake news site that's "source" is a tweet from an ivermectin conspiracy theorist who's "source" is an unnamed, "highly credible source from inside Congress." The guy who made this tweet is getting rich right now pushing fringe treatment options such as Ivermectin. He's also pushed several other treatments that have not proven to be successful. This is article is a complete joke. Now that we've gotten that out of the way, I'm all for people being able to use Ivermectin, either as a preventative or as a treatment if they choose. I personally doubt that it's as effective as some people make it out to be, but if it doesn't hurt you, there's no harm in trying.
