Ouch. Heck of an effort from Kountze, though!

Massive play there -
Heck of a game going!

I was pulling for HH (pickems), but had no dog in the fight. It sure seemed shady to me. vidor got a massive 15-yd penalty out of frustration over it, and kept getting knocked out of rhythm. That said, I doubt it made much of a difference. Hard to drive most of the field running the ball with 1:30 left.

The clock keeper is trying to screw the pirates. One of the pirate linemen said a no-no to the ref and got 15 yds for it. I understand the frustration.

King up 14-0 at the half. -
Vidor got lucky on that call. He got that ball away and right next to a receiver.

P.a. Isd requiring mask and the Bible in public schools

Yeah, my main takeaway is that people’s willingness to go along with bucking authority (or propensity to criticize those doing so) is generally pretty whimsical based on their own personal beliefs. -

That's a whole lot better point than most on here are going to be willing to admit. -
The dems are legitimately trying to pay illegal aliens for hardships incurred while breaking our laws. It would be like me paying someone a settlement for the trouble they went through after getting caught breaking into my house. It's mind blowing.

It's seldom that politicians do stuff that truly infuriates me. I might strongly disagree with something, but understand that it's part of the other side's belief systems. That said, this angers me almost to the point of speechlessness, and I can assure you that I have more liberal views when it comes to immigration that 90% of the posters in the politics forum. We're going to give a family of 3 more money than most americans will earn in their entire adult careers for being separated when arrested while crossing the border? This is literally the most insane thing I've ever heard come out of a president's mouth. How about they pay the US for the cost of processing them and taking care of their children when they crossed over illegally? The only positive here is that if this actually happens there will be a resounding majority for republicans in the house and senate at the midterms (probably will be, anyway), and a republican president in a couple of years.

alright, just so we're clear, this "news story" is from a fake news site that's "source" is a tweet from an ivermectin conspiracy theorist who's "source" is an unnamed, "highly credible source from inside Congress." The guy who made this tweet is getting rich right now pushing fringe treatment options such as Ivermectin. He's also pushed several other treatments that have not proven to be successful. This is article is a complete joke. Now that we've gotten that out of the way, I'm all for people being able to use Ivermectin, either as a preventative or as a treatment if they choose. I personally doubt that it's as effective as some people make it out to be, but if it doesn't hurt you, there's no harm in trying.

You could tell by looking at it that it wasn’t one of our normal setx tornados that spins the clouds and blows over a few trash cans

This is one of those games that’s a legit tossup. This is the strongest team either has fielded in quite awhile. I expect a close game. Rooting for the horns, leaning towards picking the bobcats.

Silsbee by 4 or 5 TDs.

What I generally expect to happen is for the family of the deceased and the director to get a big chunk of money from him and the movie company in an undisclosed out of court settlement.

I think he’s a POS, too, for what it’s worth. I just see this as a vastly different situation as most accidental shootings. TVC does as well, and seeing as he just retired after 35+ years of law enforcement, and also seeing as he has a better grasp of law than basically anyone I’ve ever met, I’m going to defer to his opinion on the matter. Sorry for my irritable response earlier, had some stuff going on at work while I was supposed to be on my break while I was trying to post.

you keep making the same point over and over again, while ignoring the fact that most of these actors are novices with guns at best, and have people hired on set to do this for them. many of these actors will fire thousands of rounds in their careers from guns that others have prepared for them. Yes, most people who have a gun handed to them who know anything about guns will clear them before doing anything else. We get it. But there are also stories on the news all the time about people accidentally shooting someone with a gun that they thought was unloaded, and they didn't even have someone around who's entire job was to make sure that the gun was safe (News flash, many of them are never charged with a crime). I also get that you're all excited about the big bad liberal having a gun accident and would like to see him hung for it. That doesn't change the circumstances surrounding the shooting, although I definitely think you should contact the proper authorities with your theory about how it all went down at the beginning of this thread.

My coworker's husband is an EMT and they've all been dispatched to the area for a "multi-casualty" event. Hoping that those casualties are only injuries.
