The score of the Silsbee-Spurger game was 41-38. Silsbee did play that game without their three big men. '6"4 Stallworth, '6"7 Thomas, and '6"7 Jones did not make this game. Anahuac did beat HJ by the score of 44-27, I checked the books on that one.

Track speed and football speed are two different things. Of course Trey will most likely be the fastest player on the field, regardless of who the Stangs are playing. But that doesn't mean he will run right by every defender in route to a touchdown. More than likely a safety will be rolled to his side to help on the deep routes. Of course that's taking into consideration that the QB gets time to throw, is accurate, and Trey catches the ball. :

First round about to be completed, only 3 groups remaining. Tiger will be tied 68th after 1st round. He bested a total of 59 players out of the 156 player field in the first round. He's got a lot of catching up to do.

First hint, your guys (plural) were at an INVITATIONAL ALL AMERICAN CAMP sitting in the bleachers watching. 2nd hint, you WILL not be ranked preseason #1 and the top 25 may be in the cards, but you are not a good card player. 3rd hint, your mailbox is full of letters from all those colleges telling you to stop bugging them. Now I imagine that the players mailboxes have letters from these schools telling them that they won't hold the lack of coaching against them.

You are right, LAZEEK. I think Marquis will show pity on DV and give him Ozen or Central so that he won't be embarassed by losing to us small time 3A schools.

I saw that he posted a while back that his team was playing in the Fred Williams Classic. He said that he had asked to play HJ in that classic. We will see.

Buc, this is Gladewater Sabine. They're a 2A-Reg III team in East Texas. "sabinebball" posts on here I guess to keep us informed on his team's "Summer-Time" basketball success. They ran the table in a 16-and-under Summer GASO Tournament. Like AAW said, if they would have lost, we would have never heard of them. No one reallys cares about Sabine Basketball down this way bud..... We know how to win....Championships that is! Oh my bad I was thinking sabine pass Don't feel bad, buc. Everyone would think the same if someone posted something HERE regarding "Sabine".

Dickie- We are saving this info so we can see how justified it is when that team comes to the golden triangle next season. Based on what you are inferring, your team will roll over any and all Golden Triangle opponents, right? I was thinking the same thing.

Tiger may have had the good draw today, but he did not take full advantage of it though. In today's benign conditions, he should have been at least under par. The forecast calls for a lot more wind tomorrow so the players need to take advantage today. Tiger did not do that. We'll see if this first round comes back to haunt him. Of course, he is only 6 shots back.
