  1. But DV, you are one of "my guys". Speaking of anal.........
  2. Those camps are petty compared to this tourney. Everyone knows that Silsbee is where it's at this week. Oh, Silsbee and HJ turned down that invite to Vegas, wasn't worth their time. LOL...Now THAT was FUNNY!!!! :D :D Whose being funny? ;D

  4. Here is a link to the leaderboard of this week's Texas State Open: [Hidden Content] Local golfers of interest: Dawie Van der Walt Shawn Stefani Andrew Landry
  5. Oh, I almost forgot, where's that North Lutheran or Lutheran North team?
  6. Looks like Gladewater Sabine doesn't care for football neither.
  7. Looking over this list of teams, a couple of things jump out at me. Where is Sabine?? Where is WOS?? Also, where is Hamshire-Fannett?
  8. Here are the teams that are participating: Central Silsbee Hardin-Jefferson Nederland Ozen Ozen JV Orangefield Kountze Lumberton Port Arthur Heat (AAU) Woodville LCM Cleveland Anahuac Evadale Beaumont Select (AAU) Livingston Spurger Pool play starts at 4pm tomorrow and Friday. Bracket play starts at 9am Saturday. All games will be at Silsbee High School. Only 12 teams out of the 18 will make it to bracket play. I will be attending this tournament and will give an end of the day report each night. I may be able to give updates during the evening, but don't know yet.
  9. So, they must be cutting back on the original seating capacity then. No, it has always been about 11,000. Durley and Babe both have 10,000 seating capacity. I think that when it is finished, we shouldn't have a problem filling the seats. BTW, dont think the UIL doesn't know about our new stadium either. I've heard rumors of BISD hosting playoff games in the future as well. I never doubted that this stadium would host playoff games. There will be some 4A, 3A, and 2A playoff games there. I only questioned the statement that this stadium will be filled to capacity each and every week. That won't happen.
  10. I corrected that post for you, Gabe. BTW, one of my many, many, many fans posted the thread about my birthday. Notice the difference?
  11. Technology might find its way to the tourney Care to explain, coach's dad?
  12. Yes Sabine plays football! Barely. They drop down in classification and still go 2-8, 0-7 in district. They are the second largest school in their district and they are picked to finish last in the district this year by DCTF. That's with 14 letterman returning, 12 starters, 7 off, 5 def. The order of finish predicted for that district: White Oak 398 Big Sandy Harmony 314 Diana New Diana 293 Elysian Fields 296 Harleton 214 Winona 284 Gladewater Union Grove 247 Gladewater Sabine 391 Now I see why I don't see you over in the football forum.
  13. Sure, post as much as you like. How about you post in the football, baseball, track, softball, girls basketball, and the pro forums as well? We know why you are here. :
  14. So, they must be cutting back on the original seating capacity then.
  15. I think he means Gladewater Sabine........ I know who he meant. : no-look, is Sabine in Southeast Texas? Just keeping southeast informed for all the New Waverly and Kountze fans down that way. We are in the same region! For anyone that wants to win a state title the road leads through Sabine this year! Why should we be informed about some summer league tourney that occurred in Denton, Texas?? I imagine that if Sabine (Pass) was to have not done so well in this "summer league" tourney, we would have never heard from you. :
  16. I think you are being wishful thinking here. I have been to West Brook, Central and Ozen games. Other than the times when they play each other, do they rarely fill the stadiums that they play in now. This stadium is suppose to be a third larger than any of the two stadiums that they play in now. Where are the fans that will need to help fill this stadium on a weekly basis?
  17. I don't recall ever deleting any of your comments. Nor have I ever recalled you getting the best of me. Explain.
  18. I think he means Gladewater Sabine........ I know who he meant. : no-look, is Sabine in Southeast Texas?
  19. It looks as though Ozen, Memorial and Central will be sending teams to this tourney. There will be 18 teams in this tourney which starts Thursday morning. I will post a complete list of teams and schedule on Thursday.
  20. Who is Sabine? Are they Southeast Texas? Oh, you mean Sabine Pass. Congrats!
  21. Here is a breakdown of the returning all district players for each team in district 21-3a: total Superlatives 1st 2nd Last year's total WOS 6 (8) 0 6 2 21 Silsbee 5 (5) 1 2 3 18 Bridge City 4 (4) 1 1 3 8 Hardin-Jeff 2 (2) 0 2 0 7 HF 0 (0) 0 0 0 7 OF 2 (2) 0 0 2 5 The numbers in parenthesis are for the total amount of positions that a team had make all district last year that are returning. WOS had two players, Franks and Haynes, that made both offense and defense. The superlatives that return are the District MVP (Johnson) and Newcomer (Menard).
  22. Need to get AggiesAreWe to put in a phone call to the silsbee coach, and get us some inside info. I will get on it.
  23. Very BOLD statement there. I doubt Orangefield would compete for the district title this year with just the addition of two players from a 1A school. Silsbee and WOS both have very good teams coming back for this year, particularly the Mustangs. Based on last year's results against Orangefield, I don' think just those two players would put them on the same level as the Tigers and the Stangs.
