If you wanna go deeper Coleman doesn’t win that state title without Coach Saveat the same man many of yall ridiculed during his tenure as Ozen coach. Nothing against Coleman he’s a great guy and I rock with him too. This isn’t a geriatric center we need young energetic coaches who are going to build a PROGRAM , not for the moment but for the long haul. And as I always say ask the kids who they want to play for , they are going to hang it on the line for him . Peace brother !!!!!

Y’all get on here and say anything . Could’ve just said congrats and we’re behind you 100% to ensure that the program is successful but here we are. I talked to a few meaning 2-3 parents and their unhappy type of foolery , two things can happen the kid can work hard and earn his stripes or the transfer button is always available .

To your point, it’s worth noting that the 50-15 loss was PN-G’s first game under a new coach. I think most PN-G fans would agree that the 2022 Indians didn’t fully settle into Joseph’s system until late in the regular season.

PNG lost 50-15, not 64-3 in 2022. I'm not sure you can compare where a team is in for a Week 1 non-district game to when the dust settles in the playoffs. Some teams improve dramatically, while other take steps back. When it comes down to it, non-district results don't factor much into what a season is turns into. By that logic you could say PNG could stay in a game with 6A-DI champ Duncanville because Duncanville only beat SOC 23-10 in Week 1. I think we all agree Duncanville is on another level.

Poster I guess forgot about 2022 Port Arthur Memorial as well. (3rd round lost was to Longview who won Region 2). And last year that 1st round game was against Forney who won Region 2 as well.

Yep. But we are talking about a 4A program whose previous few AD’s didn’t have a master’s either…not a Fortune 500 company. Where I work, our CFO, CEO President and all our VPs have Bachelor’s degrees only. A couple have no degree at all. It’s a very successful company that employs several thousand employees. A master’s isn’t necessary for the Lumberton AD/HC.
