A couple of things..... The initial investigation started under the Biden administration. This warrant was obtained by a DC judge and based on published schedules, more than likely it was Matthew J Sharbaugh who signed the warrant, and he is a registered Democrat.....So, they had to provide enough evidence to convince a Democratic Judge to issue a warrant 30 days before an election.... The other is everyone seems to go to something SHE may have done. One of the attorneys I follow suggested this could be about her Father's immigration paperwork. If he lied or falsified paperwork to get her citizenship, and it can be proven, she will lose her citizenship, and be here illegally and can be sent home......even though no fault of her own. There is no statute of limitation on to civil denaturalization...... I think this one may be serious

Saying they will lose first round is taking away from how well those boys can play. Yes, their competition has been lacking the last couple weeks, but they have done their job and handled business.

I don’t think so. NW has already pulled 2 rabbits out of the hat this year. This game will likely be for the 2 seed. NW is 6-0 and can’t be taken lightly. However, I don’t think they will find that 3rd rabbit. Newton wins by at least 20 points.

They would be Co Champs if both finish with one loss. Tie breakers would then determine seeding. I’d say it’s more likely Hardin beats New Waverly… but then again I didn’t see Hardin beating Newton.

I had a local coach (whose team has played both of these teams) tell me a couple of weeks ago that this one may be a showdown of the best two teams in SETX. After getting absolutely punched in the mouth, the team comes out after halftime and proceeds to dismantle the Longhorns. If you know a thing about this sport, you know what it is when a team completely flips the script and dominates in the 2H. Almost always coaching. I’ve said this many times, WOS won’t likely have a coach anywhere near Dan Ray or Cornel the rest of our lives and probably ever. It’s insane how lucky they were to have them back to back. And in my book, CT is probably the 1-1 of Southeast Texas football coaches based on what he did as the DC under Hooks and as the HC when he retired. He was hugely responsible for all of their rings. You just aren’t going to get that again. Kalen DeBoers could be the best coach in the game right now and he still wouldn't be Nick Saban. Hickman is a first time HC that you would expect to make mistakes. Maybe a lot of them. But you also hope that he would steadily improve and take advantage of one of the unique football situations in the State. He obviously has. Consistently. It’s fine to appreciate the past and take pride in all that was accomplished. It’s also high time to move and appreciate what you have now, which is still among the elite programs in the state.

I take it this view is thru Carthage glasses. Same view as seeing DCTF with a bias against Carthage? I hear that's the word but it's only coming from Carthage peeps. Pretty certain the view is quite different from a Mustang perspective. I have seen many many WO-S games in my lifetime and dirty is not their makeup.
