Yeah Blubaugh has been great lately. So I can’t be too mad. This is a great Phillies team though. Peña’s great play and Marshes base running era may have saved the game. Hader finally gave up a run but the Stros hung on. Yordan needs to get rolling. I like how the Astros get up when they play good teams.

The Newman teams were slow out of the gate at times, so that is what I’m gonna do, be slow to decide if this team will be a winner or not. This week will probably determine a lot of things. Offense takes a little more time than defense to develop. Dogs by 6.

I think with it being Game 3, it helps PNG more than Crawford. A senior heavy ballclub with big-time players who can make plays out of busted ones has a big advantage Game 1 over a less experienced team that hasn't seen any film. PNG has a couple of games they can draw from to help gameplan. Hope so anyway. I had a horrible pick 'em week last week, and I need PNG to win! lol

Don’t forget their run game. LP got so focused on trying to slow down their big play passing attack, I think I remember them driving right down the field one drive in the 4th to a score using nothing but zone read runs. They line up in the same shotgun set as their pass game, and the RB just reads the lanes and picks his hole. I don’t know his name. I’d call him a ‘scat back.’ But, he’s blazing fast also. Their whole team is fast.

I'm not sure what is going to happen, but a couple things have been proven.....never count Trump out, and simply running a campaign on "I hate Trump" has not worked - ask Kamala....... I have not heard a Democratic fix to any of the issues they are complaining about. I hope they keep running on the Epstein files......no one is going to elect a President or Representative for that.....the majority of the people want someone who will make their life better.

UT fan here and I watched the Slocum coached Aggies. I remember Bucky Richardson, McCown (how many of them were there, lol), and Dustin Long. I believe the “wrecking crew” name came under Slocum. UT and Texas A&M were the best rivalry in college football. Man, I still miss the old SWC.

I asked about that, They do not have a current contract with North Shore or South Oak Cliff. Both schools declined their contract offer to do their games this season. Only time you will see North Shore or SOC on Texan Live will be when they play teams that are contracted with DCTF/Texan Live.

Definitely understand the spread being 3-4 touchdowns by the results so far. I will throw in my unwanted 2 cents after watching the team the first two games. This is not intended to discredit Kelly or Hemphill. In the Kelly game it was a one point ball game at halftime. I believe the turnover margin was 5-1 in favor of Kelly. Lost the game by two scores. Hemphill scored on a fumble they picked up while on offense. One of those just like you drew it up plays. Score was 6-0 at halftime. Defense played a hell of a ball game. Hemphill's second TD was a 4th down prayer lobbed to the end zone. The turnover battle was 3-0 in favor of Hemphill. Add in a fourth down stop they made inside the 5 as well. Lost 20-8. Typical with a young team. Young men learning each Friday night and getting more comfortable as the season progresses. I'm going to say Deweyville takes care of the ball this week and creates a few turnovers to keep it closer than what the line is saying. Hell they win Friday night 26-20 !
