  3. A lot more to it than “Injuries happen on every team” Not all injuries are created equal 🤣

  5. Punt teams, both punt and receiving, is what cost BC this game. Two muffed punts recovered by OF that lead to two Bobcat TD's. Two bad snaps that resulted in a safety and the game winning FG. All 18 of Orangefield's points came off those 4 miscues.

  7. ......because what can you say about a game where the home team is a 25 point underdog. It seems Lufkin should provide no road block to the PAM Titans journey through 9-5A.

  9. Look what TA&M did with Albert Regis. Reynolds is way more athletic, and Regis is in the pros.

  10. Mom was in school with RC. Dad with Jimmy Johnson at TJ. I loved the story RC told of former Stark coach winning state at Wichita Falls Dec 6. Dec 7 was Pearl Harbor. Then the coach and all his seniors signed up on Dec 8. Back then men were real men.

  11. Never heard of a blocking TE getting a full ride. Unless they have other plans for him at another position. At this point why not? No different than an OL playing both ways.

  13. I would agree they were ranked too high this year. Had to be because of the weapons on offense. Defense progressed from ok to bad towards the end of the year. Also the loss of watson at LB was huge. Hopefully the young defense can get better. Offense is trying really hard to not be one dimensional but thats impossible when your constantly playing from behind. Best of luck to LP though.

  14. I agree. IMO, injuries to key players are not excuses. They cannot be glossed over with "every team has them". Some teams are more affected than others when it comes to injuries to key players. No denying that fact. I agree it's part of the game but it certainly should be accounted for when considering picking games or predicting outcomes.

  15. I was merely stating facts and also stating what an outstanding team that WOS has. Not once making any excuses. I'm not for anyone but simply a fan of SETX football so you can save your condescendence for someone else.

  17. NO, but I'm a realist. The Epstein files only became an issue under Trump. Why is that? If we are really concerned about the victims, why is Bill Clinton not in jail? Why was nothing released under Biden? I've said it before, if Trump is guilty, arrest him - but no one, including the victims are accusing him....only "die hard" Democrats...... This is still the "GET TRUMP" for anything bandwagon....and I'm not buying it..... the same way you have never heard me support Hillary Clinton guilty of murder........ I've never been a bandwagon guy....independent thought is what I support

  22. There was a coach at PNG named Moe, back when I was there. Moe O'Brian, who later went to coach at McNeese. I was complaining about a lost fumble during a game once, commenting on how the other team was lucky. Coach O'Brian wheeled around, looked at me and said, "you make your own luck, son". It was a good lesson.

  25. Nope. That is not it. Months ago when you referenced the Woodville Youth Football League as doing a better job coaching up these kids and bashing the current staff. That led me to see you as the Village Idiot.

  26. Other than not seeing a play clock or working game clock and the lack of an officials microphone watching this game isn’t all that odd. Being in the facility is probably quirky with no PA, clocks, advertising, etc.

  33. Okay, I missed the game Friday so I wanted watch it online before I made any comments. And I just finished. Sad. I feel sorry for the kids that are playing under Rich and his coaching staff. Scott Rich was a quarterback in high school, college and the quarterback coach at Katy, and he doesn't know how to coach up quarterbacks? That should tell everyone reading this what type of coach he is. Lane was the best chance the Dogs had, and now he's down. He will be sorely missed. Sorry Spidesal defense is part of the problem. Coach Wright and Coach Rich evaluating talent. You have big boys on the DL that only have a bull-rush move, and stand straight up when doing so, giving away leverage. If they are that big, and not dominating the tackle and guard in front of them, they are needed on the offensive side of the ball, IMMEDIATELY. The linebackers have never changed. Same group from last year, they are slow and take bad angles. Out of the four of them, I would say Howard really runs to the ball and wants to make contact when he gets there. I would also venture to say the DB's have more tackles than the linebacker crew individually. And for the third level to be leading in tackles is another sign of a weak LB/DL. The DB's have been making big tackles and big interceptions. They saved some big plays from turning into touchdowns. Again they're small so Wright will need to get them some help over the top when he can. Especially against passing teams like PNG & Dayton. They need Ned back at safety. The offense, what can I say - it is Scott Rich getting what he deserves. I just hate that these young men who have worked so hard and believed in him, now have to deal with his karma. Coach Rich is supposed to be the offensive mind, and you see what that got. Gestring should be RB1 with Ned at safety. Bring a couple of them DL over to OL and a few of them LB's over to TE. With a few of the second stringers on the defense they won't lose much intensity. They already give up 25 points a game. They also need more two TE formations, and short play action passes the QB can connect. But for play action to work you have to establish the run......... I know Martinez was solid as a RB last year on JV, I would even try Clay back there just to get the ball in his hands. Probably have to be RB by committee, because they are taking some licks in the backfield soon as they get the handoff. The WR's can catch, they just need someone that can get them the ball. We might as well look forward to the powerlifting season, because that's what they've been training these kids for.........not football. Can I talk about the "parental politics" and corner cutting BigDog? I wanted to stay within the guidelines.

    Nederland vs Silsbee

From a long time Mustang perspective. This Nederland team is nowhere close to what I'm used to seeing from the Dogs. Mental errors, poor execution, turnovers, penalties, overall sloppy play? These are NOT characteristics of the Neumann era Dogs. You could always bet they were going to be sound. They weren't gonna beat themselves, turn the ball over, have stupid penalties. You knew they would be disciplined and prepared and you'd have to be the same to get a win. Not that way now from what I see.

  36. The defense has come along fine...offense well you said it need to get the ball in the hands of Gestring im also impressed with the play of the sophomore Clay i still think we make the playoffs im not ready to write us off just yet

  37. The offensive scheme is real basic and predictable. Larry Neumann's teams were light years more advanced. Delbert Spell's defense was much more aggressive and disciplined. Those days are gone. It's back to the Bulldogs of the 70s and 80s.
