  5. for sure, if it's legit. I truly don't know. Hard to trust stuff coming out of DISD sometimes... In 2025 DISD had only 11 Ds and 2 Fs out of over 200 schools. I find that pretty unbelievable. To put that into perspective, BISD had 7 Ds and 7 Fs with only 23 campuses last school year. That said, if DISD's score are truly accurate then that's a definite eye opener to how dysfunctional BISD has been.

  7. Sounds like someone wants some cheese with their whine! Graduated from EC many years ago, and when you have a school that is all around strong in everything from athletics to UIL to FFA, etc. the school sales itself. Why would people not want their kids go to a school that is as well balanced and competitive in every aspect of school life.

  8. I'll tell yall this, the lefty was damn impressive at BH two years ago as a sophomore and if EC can have him at QB allowing KJ to be used elsewhere as a weapon, they're going to be dangerous.

Not really sure why it’s such a big deal. No one should want any POTUS assassinated. But, for some reason, it’s become okay for some to believe targeting this particular POTUS is allowed.

Not defending POTUS, but you do realize the Secret Service may have refused to allow him to fly on the one plane, and only allowed him to follow their new security arrangement. The Secret Service can refuse to follow POTUS wishes if they deem the security situation warrants. He'll never admit it. But, he may not have had a choice.

Lol, no joke. As far as I can remember, there has been a decoy AF1 in place. Presidents always come first.

  30. People on here do understand. But the vitriol and complaining was towards SOC when it should be directed at UIL and the local DEC.

  31. I get out plenty and talk with many people in the coaching industry. I know exactly how wild the DFW area is with the transferring but my point is all these players were ruled eligible by all ruling committees. As for the complaining. My point was the vast majority of it comes from the team who loses to the team accused of cheating. Is it justified? To a point, yes. But knowing who some of you are on here that have posted or liked comments on this thread (including you) and what their school association is, my point has been proven. Like I stated before, policy needs improving.

  32. In regards to Faith Family, I think that's a case of apples and oranges. Charter schools should never be allowed to play UIL or at least have to play 6A. There is a reason why Faith Family no longer plays UIL. As for the Houston teams, that can be viewed as the same as SOC. But like I said, the complaining still came from the losing team. Personally, I didn't have much issue with Silsbee losing to Yates or Washington (we did beat them more than they beat us). I did have issue with Faith Family. They never belonged in UIL.

Did you watch any Vidor game last year or are you just basing everything off records alone?

Ahhh the age old question, is the coach or the players? Seems to me the actual answer is somewhere in between…

Carthage was competitive long before Suratt arrived and he has done a great job of transforming a perennial winner to a perennial state champion. He also benefitted from the watering down of the classifications. Huntington has never had a single winning season in school history. There is not a single chance in hell that he would do the same at Huntington. **I suspect you are being silly at this point. I dont believe that you believe what you are saying.

Not the players huh?!?! So, when Vidor was playing against players like James Brown, Leeland McElroy, Tiki Hardeman, Adam Dunn, Clint Stoerner and a ton of other players... Vidor had a chance if they had better coaching?!?! Or when Vidor's heaviest offensive lineman is 200lbs playing across from D-lineman that avg. 250... not the players, huh? Or when Vidor's fastest player runs a high 4.7 and their opponent has multiple players run 4.6 or better... not the player's, huh? Better coaching would have those players running faster and putting on more weight and would of had them competing against players who had great high school, college, and pro careers, huh?!?!

  37. This is an ignorant take. Do you think Barrier would've had the individual success he has had if he had been playing in Chad Taylors offense? On the flip side, do you think Hardin would've had the team success they had this past year had they stayed in Barrier's offense? On another note, Woodville is a dumpster fire. Two years removed from a state championship appearance, and now staring down the barrel of low level mediocrity for the foreseeable future, all because daddies can't keep their mouth shut. Great job guys!

  38. Eh 5 different schools in 5 years is more uncommon to say the least lol even for a coach

  39. I don't really keep up with it. I know coaches move around but I don't think it's normal to jump around that rapidly. He never stayed any one place for over a year within a 5 year span.
