The only ‘national’ news program I watch is Fox Business. They are the most accurate business coverage on the airwaves. Yes, you have to listen to some politics. But, it’s not near the amount or respective bias of the other straight news/opinion outlets. You can tune most of it out & focus primarily on the economics—which is what I do. He’s been a fairly regular guest. Once or twice a month I’d say. Pretty much a supply side conservative. Friedman/Laffer type. Not a big tariff guy. A lower tax & lower regulation guy.

Hard to go back to having a payment of any size once you’re used to having none. Ours has been paid off for almost 20 years. I’d have no clue what to do with a house note. I’ve read that many are selling (when they do) and taking the cash to buy another smaller home. No new mortgage.

The numbers are the numbers......Unless you're trying to dispute the numbers on practically every crime page I've gone to Beaumont and live in Port Arthur.....I've never been assaulted or obviously killed...but that does not mean the violent crime rate in Beaumont is not 278% above the national average in violent crime.

Your larger schools that are in multi school districts share a stadium and will play on either Thursday or Saturday depending on the number of teams that are scheduled for that week. Yes, there are an alarming number of smaller schools, that have no reason to play on anything other than Friday's, having to play on Thursday due to the shortage. Thursday's are still better than Saturday's in my opinion.

Tremendous rivalry, I was lucky to get to coach in one and we gave it away by shotgun snapping from the goalline/ fumble and missed field goal. I am old school, when you are at the one, quarterback sneak!!!!
