This was one of those “transformation right before your eyes” kinds of games. Nederland’s defense played like a top-tier team. Byars had nowhere to run, and I’m not sure Marcos has ever been hit that much.

It does not matter what the records r in this game I seen it goes both ways when they play. I believe it's the best rivalry game in the state .let's both come out free of injuries, and I do support our png brothers only for 1 game a year I will pull against them.

Nederland new regime seems to have turn things around rather quickly as well as the under classmen teams. Bridge City is a big shock for me. Good for them, and hats off to that coaching staff and players. I thought with drop down for West Brook and United would be big for their programs after being in the toughest district in 6A and they would push for playoffs for 5A… but both are under performing. IMO.

It's very possible that neither team stops the other team from running the football. And this could be a runaway crazy scoring game. Either way i'm gonna stick with my Indians to win.🏈 Best game in the world! PNG vs Nederland!

I love the fact that Mid-County is on top. Way to go Dogs. We have a great game stacked up for next week with huge implications behind it. This should be a great game.

Indiana is legit.

Huntsville has a good o line and two very good RBs and we mostly shut down their run game. We’ve played good RBs against Klein Oak, La Porte, MLC (admittedly, not our finest moment), and Huntsville. We can make things very difficult for Thomas. But, if we don’t continue to improve, especially in containment, he can take advantage. He’s way faster than anyone we have on defense, he won’t usually go down with a single tackler, and he definitely won’t go down with hand tackles. We’re going to have be extremely disciplined and tough.
