  1. Hightower. Yes (the loss I predicted. 6A D2 regional finalist) Cleburne. Nope United. These kids been knowing each other since middle school so no Ball. From what I saw, they could be 5-0 when PA takes the ferry to the Island so yes Cove. Revenge game regardless on how the trip to the island goes. Opinion from a man who reads, watches, and played the game

  2. A lot do work, for cash, and never pay a cent in taxes on their earnings. Then they wire a lot of that to central and south America. Meanwhile, they depend on welfare, WIC and free medical care. Thats how their underground economy works.

  20. What is there to agree upon. Phone conversation between the two coaches ready Kountze HC: Hey West Hardin I see you need a game. We also need a game. Would you like to play since we are only 20 min a part and we both need a game? West Hardin HC: You know what that sounds like a great idea. Let’s Do it. Kountze HC: Ok great see you Friday. West Hardin HC: Ok love you Bye!!! They have my permission to use that script if it helps.

  24. Lumberton started off 0-3 last year and they had a very good team back, this year they last 33 seniors and only 4 returnees this wasn’t on the coaches for not preparing the kids this is a young team that will keep growing.

  29. I’ve already discussed this before. And let’s not act like we don’t know what this is really about. What’s the term that was used? ‘Unwanted expansion’? So ridiculous. Those kids are in that district. And some of them do play football. Mostly all of those kid’s parents WORK and PAY TAXES. A win/win for the town, you would think.

    Offensive football

Against Buna ….. make a relatively smart comparison, your better than that. last years coach lost to woodville twice by much more embarrassing scores. this Jr heavy team fight all game long with game changing turnovers that killed the run. self inflicted mistakes lost the game, not the offense. that worn out Wing T wouldn’t have made a difference.

  31. 12 years ago they had enrollment of less than 1,000....now they have 3,300. Imagine if Silsbee had 2,000 more students dropped in on them, none of whom play football, then they have to be in the district with North Shore, Summer Creek, Atascocita and CE King. They would get their butts worked over something fierce every weekend then all the good players would find a more reasonable place to play where they would have a chance. They are a 3a or 4a school playing in a 6a district. No one would want to subject the self to that, so likely their better players went somewhere else.

  34. Let’s start with the good. Tyson Henry reminded me of Isaiah Nguyen in how he runs. With time for Henry to develop, I think he and Chatagnier will strike a dynamic similar to the one Chatagnier shared with Nguyen. We saw how that worked out last year. Bailey and his receivers corps both looked good once the offense found its rhythm. Same goes for the OL. The defense forced six turnovers, only giving up ten points to a fairly talented (if poorly coached) 6A team with an OU commit and as much speed as we’ll see all season. Perhaps most importantly, the stellar in-game adjustments we’ve become accustomed to from this coaching staff were on full display; I took particular notice of how the passing game exploited the seams that were opened when Klein Oak stacked the box early to stifle Chatagnier. McDaniel’s still the best high school DC in America, in my book. In the end, we walked away with a three possession win in enemy territory. It was a strong first outing for the 2024 Indians. Now let’s talk about the bad. Two drive-killing false starts and two fumbles, including one scoop-n-score, within spitting distance of the end zone during the first ~15 minutes of regulation. A bobbled snap on a PAT attempt that, thankfully, worked out for an unintentional two pointer. Some bad snaps on punting attempts that, thankfully, didn’t cost us anything. It’s hard to complain about a 22 point victory over a school with a thousand more kids to build a team from. All in all, this was a good win for the Indians. Change two or three key moments in the game, however, and this easily could’ve been the Indians’ third consecutive season opener loss. The main thing is that we know what we need to work on. The offense needs to work out some stiffness. Defense has a minor size issue in the backfield and needs to do a little work on tackling. Special teams needs the most work of all. I trust Joseph & Co. to iron out those kinks. We’ll have another good season this year. Will it be another history-making season? Only time will tell. 😎

  36. PAM played a Dekaney team that’s talented. Dekaney is also 6a and have many D1 players. 16 has many offers and is committed to usc . Pam QB looked young. He also made a nice deep ball to Robert’s. And made 2 big plays with his legs one going for 90+ the o-line got 0 push and couldn’t hold up well in pass protection. Dekaney also had some big boys on both lines. The defense won the game. (Dekaney didn’t give it away) if you hit somebody and they fumble it’s called good defense. PAM played a decent 6a club and by mid 2nd quarter had the game won.
