We were blessed to have him for ten years and he got Mansfield (LA) into the playoffs this year for the first time in forever. He's a really good coach. Sure, they should have gone farther in the playoffs a few times, but injuries derailed those runs. Coach Crumedy has had a lot work against him (talent level being the biggest), but our athletic program doesn't win much outside of track and soccer. I've heard that there's better talent coming in the football program, so there's that. It's just a question of whether Kendrick will be there to coach them. He's a good man and a good coach, so I really hope he can have success there soon and be able to stay until he chooses to leave. It just doesn't always work that way.

I am pulling for La Porte but this game really scares me for them. I feel like if they get by this one they could be playing until December but this game is going to be very tough for them. Simon needs to have a big game!!!

Well, this is interesting, but I still have reservations about a machine in charge of a weapon system that can think on its own.

I hope the UIL deny the opt ups if BC/HJ+ tries to it again. We all know why they opted up, but at the end of the day the UIL allowed this to happen. Side note: It would be kind of cool if there was no more d1&2 and just 4A. All of Orange County would be in a district. This would probably never happen but would be fun for Orange County (assuming OF will be 4a). I imagine this would help eliminate the problem of districts having teams that are hours apart statewide.

His worst record was 6-5 (his last season). Lost only 6 district games in 10 years.
