Simply goes back to Davis’s teams never performing well in the conference tournament and the fact that they always seem to struggle with UTRGV, SEL, McNeese, and Northwestern; noticeably the 3-9 record vs these teams this season( that is 9 of their 14 losses)

Well the Cardinals couldn’t do it today. Pitching and errors got them today. Still have a chance to possible sweep HCU and be 40-15 regular season or win at least 2 and be 39-16. Possibly either 20-10 or 19-11 in conference. Then go 1-2 in tournament, finish with a nice record before going home for the summer

Cards fall 7-4 today. Have a mid-week in Austin followed by a final series at home against HCU. After today's games SELA is in great position to hold the #1 seed and UTRGV with a good shot at the #2. Where will Lamar be for the first round of the confence tournament? Next weekend will determine that.
