  2. Not sure it's relevant to this situation but it certainly has me wondering what's your guys/gals opinion is. Say, a kid transfers his junior year to another ISD, for whatever the reason may be. For this example, the KID's transfer is not signed off on, yet, he's already highly recruited and received multiple D1 offers. Do you all feel as though it's important for HIM/HER to play his senior year "somewhere" or just focus on grades, hit up some camps and LIFE goes on type of thing. The only reason I use this example is, a few years ago, I caught wind of a D1 committed player in another sport quiting the ISD school sport for their senior year and the COLLEGE they were committed to praised that decision and was very supportive to say the least leaving a lot of us wondering, is the senior year even worth it in their eyes? I suppose not. Very shocking to me. I wonder if that's the case in terms of FOOTBALL recruiting, once you are locked in your junior year, does the senior year even matter?
  3. I didn't get to watch last night or today but the Stros came back last night to win 4-2 and won today 4-2 to take series from Detroit. Now Cleveland coming to town for 3. Keep it up.
  4. I find it amusing to be honest with you.
  5. Today
  6. Careful, you’re in line for a but but Obama. lol. These guys shouldn’t feel special. Obama stiffed the American people. Even one of his chefs became a stiff. Obama’s wealth before his presidency was $1.3 million. When he left office, it was $12.2 million. His salary was $400,000. Go figure. Shovel ready jobs and you can keep your insurance.
  7. She pretty much nailed it on why Anthony didn’t take the stand in his own defense.
  8. I don’t remember anyone celebrating a teenager killed. I am sure it happened though. I don’t celebrate anyone getting killed however there are some people that made their own bed. Where was it a couple of days ago that I saw two teenagers break into a home or business and one was shot and killed and the other got away? Am I happy that a couple of teens made a terrible mistake and one paid with his life? No. The parents now have to live with the grief from what happened but there’s a good likelihood that the parents caused it. I know that it wasn’t addressed to me but I don’t find it hypocritical to say that Anthony committed murder and Martin and the teen in the news a couple of days ago likely caused their own demise.
  9. We gave Iran back to Iran and opened up the Strait that was already open before war. Smh
  10. MAGA, if you’re upset about Trumps name being removed from the Kennedy Center, it’s okay. It’s still in the Epstein files. LOL!
  11. I'm the Boss! I can imagine the TDS crowd, their brains are exploding! LOL!

  17. If I were a paranoid person, I'd begin to think someone was reading my posts. lol The Oil Business Is Shifting From Hormuz to Houston. The Iran War May Have Made It Permanent - National Security Journal
  18. I was employed by a company who had interest in fracking and exploration. It was a double edged sword for employees. Since we all had to gas up our vehicles every week, we enjoyed a lower price at the pump just like everyone else. But to stay employed and keep our business profitable, the crude oil prices needed to be elevated to stimulate exploration, so that meant paying a bit more at the pump. Some people simply don’t realize how expensive it is to find and retrieve new oil.
  19. A man can't even go fishing in Beaumont. SMH @BMTSoulja1, do you fish?
  20. The first point is somewhat true. You can establish all the residency you want but a school district can still deny enrollment to a student. It gives them the right to deny based on if a student leaves a school because of disciplinary issues. That student would still have to serve out his punishment at the new school or be denied enrollment.
  21. Lufkin, WB & PAM all have one historically tough opponent, and one opponent that's usually a little easier. Lufkin has their major rivalry game with the Lobos. La Porte has 2 quality opponents with their major rivalry game in the Border Battle, and then Ft. Bend Crawford. So, I'll have to go with La Porte right now. I think Ft. Bend Crawford is going to be a solid team again this year with their returning superstars on O. La Porte could easily start out 0-2. Breaking in some new players on the lines may take a few games.
  22. Yep. Like I said previously, I'd expect Brent to hang around upper $70's for the foreseeable future. I don't envision going back into the $60's again. $70's are actually a good number that allows for a balance between fuel costs & margins that allow for maintenance and investments by the energy companies. I haven't heard of any major T/A's in a long time. Usually, that's a yearly, staggered process between refiners. T/A's are a critical function, and the refiners have to have the margins and capacities to enable the down times. In the past, we were around $80/bbl. But, efficiencies and fracking have enabled a lot lower cost structure need. This is a solid link to keep bookmarked for those interested. It doesn't give all the data I receive. But, it's pretty informative for the overview.
