  1. Past hour
  2. i said it and i wasn't wrong to think that. That game was heading off the rails in the first half. Defense was still doing the same stuff like the week before. When the DC starting blitzing, it made up for an underachieving secondary. When i predict a loss, i always hope i'm wrong. that what makes me NOT a homer. I'm realistic. Morgan never beat these people. Tbh, HT really hurt themselves with penalties. Also those boys had poor conditioning lol. Alex and Amante leaned on the them hard. The next possible L's will come from BH and/or LP. At best they will be 9-1 imo. Just don't see them beating LP. BH will be close...very close. 7 or less. Oh and one last thing, i like it when i'm wrong and they win...i hate it when i'm right and they lose...except to tell people "i told u so".

  5. Angleton and Friendswood keep rolling. Both teams are putting up solid offensive numbers. La Porte fell to a very tough PN-G team at home. Crosby held tough with Fort Bend Marshall in a very competitive game, and Kempner blanked Houston Wisdom for their second shut-out of the year. Kingwood Park put up good numbers again after their loss to Dayton last week, and the Cardinals got the better of the Eagles in the match up of the birds. Now, the preliminaries are over. Everyone gets a blank slate to begin the real season and district play after an off week this week for the district. We'll see what adjustments will be made and what has been learned as we head into district play.

  7. Where will you be this week? My Week 4 schedule Thursday Tarkington at Hardin Friday Silsbee at Beaumont West Brook Saturday MLB Seattle at Houston
  8. Hard game to pick, West Brook will get the victory 24-21
  9. Even the situational use is more than we did under the last coach. Reid Richard barely came off the field in the playoffs during the 2023 season. And, when there is situational use, it’s clear the player has been trained well even in their temporary role.
  10. Today
  11. Freshman QB for Nac looked like a vet out there. Very impressed by him.
  12. Just to clarify. PNG has never played kids both ways under Joseph. You might see a situational play but once you hit 9th grade you are either offense or defense. You will not find a kid in the program playing both ways as starters.

  14. There's a legend running the defense!!
  15. About the bag, I think I misunderstood what you were saying. Were you saying the killer disassembled the gun and put it in the bag and then ran across the building? I thought you were saying that the rifle was intact and was put whole in a rifle bag. Which one were you saying? I think the government's position is he disassembled the rifle. If so, I have some interesting takes on this which I'll later relay. Did you watch the first 28 seconds of the video I provided of the killer walking up the stair well to the roof? Not sure where he's hiding the gun barrel. I thought maybe in his right pants leg. But you can see both legs are bending.
  16. I would vote Pappadeaux
  17. I think it probably would, if you weren’t used to that sort of thing. Which might account for why he missed where he was shooting. It’s a very safe bet he was aiming for the head or the chest and made a bad shot and got lucky. And it’s 100% that if it were a pro taking the shot they would’ve never aimed where Kirk was hit. Why aim for a low % target when center mass is a guaranteed hit, and the head is a guaranteed kill (and bigger target than the neck)?
  18. Like others have mentioned, 200 yds is a relatively easy shot for a lot of people. With the right scope it’s reaaaaallly easy. Awhile back I hit a plate at 200 yds 3 shots in a row with a Thompson Center Contender PISTOL that I’d never shot that had a good scope on it. Also, at the distance he was shooting a 5 mph crosswind isn’t a factor at all.
  19. Absolutely. Awhile back I had my wife in the red at 200 yds in half a box of shells, and she’d fired exactly one bullet from a rifle before that time in her whole life. This kidad’s dad is a cop. Good chance he grew up hinting, great chance he grew up shooting.
  20. i think west brook take silsbee by a touchdown in this one Silsbee 35 West Brook 42
  21. Based on the little footage that I’ve seen on Jasper, they like to throw the ball. Is the running game there as well?
  22. I haven't seen them yet, but my neighbor has been to all of the games (his daughter is a cheerleader), and he says HF has definitely been a 2nd half team so far this season.
  23. If you hunt, there’s a thing called buck fever. I’m 58 and I still get it. My heart starts beating through my ears. My hands shake, and I can barely think. But if I take just a few seconds, relax my breathing and focus, I can shoot a deer every time right where I’m aiming.
  24. This is, I believe, the same answer Charlie Kirk would have given in a distressful situation.
