AI Overview Increasing tariffs is widely considered a bad idea by most economists , as it can lead to higher consumer prices, reduced economic growth, and a loss of jobs, according to Brookings, NPR, and The Century Foundation. Tariffs are regressive, disproportionately harming low-income households, and can hurt domestic businesses that rely on imported goods, says PBS and this NPR article. While some argue tariffs can protect specific domestic industries, this often comes at the cost of efficiency and can lead to retaliation from other countries, notes Georgia State University News. Potential drawbacks Higher prices for consumers: Companies often pass the cost of tariffs on to customers, leading to higher prices for goods. Reduced efficiency: Tariffs can create inefficiencies for the protected industries and for the supply chain partners they depend on. Retaliation: Other countries may respond by imposing their own tariffs on a nation's exports, which can harm those export-oriented industries. Decreased innovation: Protecting industries from competition can sometimes reduce the incentive to innovate and improve. Potential for economic harm: In the long run, tariffs could potentially lead to a decline in a country's overall production.

Crosby (26) A&M Consolidated (27) — FINAL
pakronos replied to jdawg03's topic in High School Football
with the first rd exits, yes. But no losing seasons. This year it seems Morgan has finally got it. Keep it simple. Now, as a MAN, i disagreed during the summer that my cousin should be playing QB and i was wrong and it worked out. But i haven't seen a lot of, maybe no clock management issues, maybe one. Play calling hasn't been bad, i'll give him/them an A-, probably because the talent can hide any bad play calling? Idk, maybe the community needs to be more vocal and make crosby's HC feel uncomfortable? I honestly believe that Morgan has heard voices and want to go out with a bang if the rumors are true. -
+ 1 on this. Ashworth has had some varsity playing time including 2nd half last week, and will do well.
-
Newton is starting a 9th grade kid at QB who is a big plus to the teams winning.

RoughneckGuy replied to jdawg03's topic in High School Football
RoughneckGuy thought about it and was considering it, but the way you guys were talking to RoughneckGuy with all the disrespect so RoughneckGuy had to keep doing it. -
RoughneckGuy says Columbia is really good they are a top 20 team as is LM in the Dave Campbell’s computer rankings. RoughneckGuy says we switched our Offense up after some bad Non District Games we could easily be 10-0!
-
RoughneckGuy says yes Silsbee just bullied HF this year! And that RB from LM was a move in.
-
RoughneckGuy says no they should not! And they did not like RoughneckGuy said LM is very good!

I’m not one to blame officials. Please someone share the box score for me to understand the foul call variance. From my outlook it was a big pot of gumbo for the SC Bulldogs. They got all the ingredients, yet couldn’t escape with their biggest win of the year. Congratulations to Mike T and his team for overcoming this challenge. I was very impressed with this WB team (feels like a better team than last year) #23 is a silent 6’7” killer. #21 has game also. #44 needs some reps, but is very coachable and will get better. #5, no need to discuss him. Looking forward to a great year! -
