  2. Let’s see… both institutions were named after men who were considered to be honored at the time of naming. The passage of time and evolution of community sentiment meant that the institutions no longer considered the name to be appropriate, so it was changed. Subsequent administrations saw fit to change the name BACK to the previous name… The process was identical. You just like one guy and dislike the other. The fact that one fought to preserve slavery and the other one is a black man has nothing to do with your preferences, right?
  3. Huffman should be very good this year. HF is still going to be a solid team, but they lost some huge pieces last season. Their offense will go as far as Broussard, Pirtle, and Reed can take them. The defense has some holes to fill as well, but it seems like every year some kids fill in and become big time players in the LB core and secondary. Here's hoping HF can get close to the level they were at last year. This district we're in is no joke.
  4. Vidor's QB should be pretty good this year and next. Got a little size and some good speed.
  5. Vidor scored once on a long TD run. Two passes were dropped that would have been TDs for Vidor. Kirbyville did not score.
  6. Evadale resisted being bullied..... My Son asked to go there instead of Lumberton - I was reluctant, but agreed. Best decision, small classes and great teachers.
  7. Today
  8. AKA WOS is gonna look the part of a top 10 4A team and Lumberton has some work to do
  9. Y’all are no different than the ones that want the name of BISD’s stadium returned to the Butch. Poo comes in all hues.
  10. We are all curious if the ball was slung around at the EC scrimmage 😁

    NGO's!

From Wall Street Apes on X: "Democrat Senator Sheldon Whitehouse voted to send $14.2 million dollars to his wife’s NGO, she pocketed $2.7 million “They steal our tax dollars to line their pockets via nonprofits, non government organizations, also known as NGOs and government contracts” “Senator Sheldon Whitehouse — backed the legislation that approved $14.2 million to go to Ocean Conservatory. It was a non profit for cleaning up the beaches. Guess who the main runner in that company was? Oh, his wife. She got $2.7 million of that dollar, that amount. So he approved that. This company got the contract, and his wife is the main chick. That's how they steal your money.” Family Endeavors was/is an empty facility in Texas, it was being paid $18 million per month by Democrats. Biden’s Transition Team Member served on the board. All this information gets exposed, and not a single person ever gets arrested!" NGO's were a major problem for America.
  12. From Charlie Kirk on X: "The Trump Administration has already started cleaning out DC’s homeless encampments and has revoked the city’s sanctuary city policies. Graffiti is getting removed and President Trump says he plans to aggressively fill potholes too. Forget the photos of National Guardsmen in Georgetown — this is what really matters. The Trump Administration is showing that every part of urban decay that the public hates is a choice. If DC is clearly better, cleaner, safer, and more pleasant a month from now, what excuse will the left have for every other city in the country?" @Big girl @UT alum @CardinalBacker @Boyz N Da Hood
  13. It's 5. That's what DCTF has and what their head coach told me. Mustangs have 6 returners on offense. Lumberton returns 7 on offense and 3 on defense.
  14. WO-S returns 5 defensive starters from last year.
  15. I think wos return 10 out of 11 starters on defense . Dline was huge and physical, defensively they are really good. Good scrimmage for both always tough to face a tough physical defense right off the bat. I think lumberton looks better than last year and defensively they didn’t play bad.
  16. BC/Silsbee summary. 1s V 1s both offenses struggled. The only TD score came at the very end of the live half with BCs backups in and a couple of JV kids that were pulled up. Overall, both defenses killed it. Both offenses need a lot of work. Think both teams will improve offensively and have a great year with that kind of defensive showing.
  17. I thoroughly enjoy your posts. Well spoken and very educating. Please continue. Need more posts like yours down here.
  18. In the controlled part, WO-S scored 3 TD's (2 for 1st team and 1 for 2nd team). Lumberton did not score and only picked up one 1st down. In the two live quarters, WO-S scored 1 TD. Lumberton did not score and never crossed the 50. Overall, WO-S scored 4 TD's, Lumberton 0 TD's. Mustang defense looks really really good. Lumberton looks like they could struggle this year. Just first scrimmage. Lot's of football to be played.
  19. Huffmans 1s scored 4, HF 1s scored 1 over the course of the whole scrimmage. HFs 2s bested Huffman 2s by a wide margin (I think 4-1). In the live QTR Huffman scored 1 on 2 possessions, HF didn't score. Most important part looks like both teams made it out healthy!
  20. From the United Timberwolves fb page: Scrimmage with Lamar Consolidated tomorrow is canceled
  21. Silsbee @ BC (Rough Stats) 12 Min Quarter (2) Silsbee (30 Plays) Rush (17) / Pass (13) First Downs (9) Punts (3) FG / TD Defense w/ 3 "Sacks" Bridge City (15 Plays) Rush (8) Pass (7) First Downs (1) Punts (4) Defense w/ 1 "Sack" Summary: Silsbee got better every possession w/ Johnson finishing up 6-7 of passing for the two "Scores". Solid run game inside and outside w/ downhill action. BC defense not bad early but once Tigers got a rhythm in run game they couldn't stop them. BC offense never got comfortable with good pressure from dline. Jmo
