BH Freshmen class is 700 and something. I think we barely make the cut and stay 5A D1 until next realignment.

I live in the now and they did not play well enough this season Call me a less than average fan, that is fine and I will call myself a realistic fan

Not many liked the OC when he was at BH. If you look back at the head scratcher play calls in the playoffs last couple years, you’ll see he’s probably the issue. Lufkin with a good OC would be dangerous.

I think this one will be a close game. I won’t be surprised if Ned gets the win.

Hey I am still proud of the Stros. They will be back. Heck I can get some rest now and get ready for High School Basketball so I can lose more hair.

Ehhh...I think against elite teams they'll struggle to stop people....a little undersized and not super fast IMO...if they are gonna win in December I think they'll need to outscore people

Initial thoughts on the PNG defense?

DCTF projection: LP +39 Not sure about that spread. But, we’ll see. LP did look more like they were rounding into form again. D was much improved as far as fundamentals, and penalties were down. Special Teams still allowed a TD return though. That’s 2 this year on KO’s. Still need to keep improving.

AND.........who would have thought Fetterman would be the voice of reason for the left?

Who would you like to see get it?

Hardin is coming off a big win against Orangefield this past Friday, while East Chambers scrambled out a win against Buna. Both teams are undefeated on the season and look to stay atop the hill as the leader of District 10-3A D1. In 2024, East Chambers defeated Hardin 28-22 How do you see this one playing out and why? What type of score do you see as the outcome?

Hopefully a Texas team brings the division back to the state next year. And hopefully it’s not you guys 😉. The rangers were also killed by injuries this year, just not quite to your level. Hopefully with a couple of moves from each team we’ll have an exciting race next year

I got WOS, HF, Silsbee then Shepherd in that order as of this week. I will be shocked if Jasper were to make the playoffs right now.

Cleveland and Detroit finished at 87-75 just like Houston. Only Toronto (East Div. champ) Seattle (West Div. champ), Yankees and Red Sox had better records. Cleveland and Detroit had the tiebreakers over Houston. But finished with the same record. You know, all about wins/losses.

I think you’re probably right, but the top three are close enough that they could all beat each other. Wouldn’t be shocked if any of the three wins district, even less shocked if there’s a tie at the top, but I agree that HF is 3rd favorite in that group.

How do you figure only 4 teams had a better record You had 3 divisional champions with better records and 3 wild cards with a better record. That my friend appears to be 6.
