  1. Past hour
  2. Your president continues to insert the government. The ridiculous spending started with the big beautiful bill and the 20 billion bailout to Argentina.
  3. If Bailey and his receivers are on the same page like the last 2 games, not good enough. IMHO, if Bailey has time to throw, he's going to pick pretty much anyone apart this year. He's really playing lights out ball right now.
  4. Farmers and others have been hurt by this administration. You still believe the economy is doing well? On a positive note if he releases the files there would be plenty of positives that would come from it.
  5. For sure forgot about them
  6. Maybe I haven't watched enough film on Hardin, but from what I have seen so far is that Hardin will line the Jones kid on one side of the wing and then run him to the opposite side just about every time. But if a team can't stop it, why change? I have seen enough football in my lifetime and from my experience (mostly watching Silsbee when I broadcast their games back in the day, and talking with their coaches) the best way to stop slot or wing offenses were to basically sacrifice your Dline and have them disrupt the blocking schemes and not so much make the tackles. This allows the linebackers to be freed up to make the plays. If the Oline can't get to the LB's, that style offense seems to struggle. I saw Silsbee (and other teams) do this so many times against the Orangefields, Vidors and Hardin-Jeffersons who run those type offenses. I know Silsbee basically had their Dline guys just dive forward and wreck the Olines ability to pull or get to second level to carry out their blocking schemes. Silsbee LB's were able to basically "Tee off" on the running backs. Just an observation of mine. I am certainly no Defensive Co.

  8. Crosby, Kingwood Park and Friendswood battling it out for those last two spots. Big two weeks here for Crosby, could be out of the playoffs or punch the tickets in the next 14 days.
  9. Today
  10. I remember a time when Jasper teams were always gonna do two things, be physical and play extremely hard. Watching them against Lumberton this year I saw neither of those things and was very surprised.
  11. With all of Huntsville's talent, I do not see us running away with the game. We have to play mistake free football. Could be a tight game. How is Huntville's pass D?
  12. The Taylor game plan of grinding the clock with a series of runs by Trevor Jones, coupled with tough defensive play from the Hornets will win them this ball game and may actually lead to an undefeated regular season slate for Hardin. I like what I am seeing from the Hornets so far. As long as Jones stays healthy, they will be a tough out for anybody they line up against.
  13. Trump is currently at 30%
  14. Taking Lufkin to win at home by +14
  15. Dayton does have a Starbucks were moving up -
  16. Jasper went 2-8 in 2010. They were 4-7 last year. Under Crumedy, they are currently 21-20.
  17. Liberty has a Starbucks so ...
  18. Same here
  19. Worst I can recall. However, it was apparent from watching the JR High a few years ago that this might be coming.
  20. I’m in favor of government shutting down no matter who does it, normally that means no ridiculous spending, which most is. It also highlights how terribly dependent this country is on government, which was never supposed to happen. But to compare border wall spending (which is national security and covered in the Constitution) with what the democrats are now pushing is silly.
  21. Getting close. I'll start gathering and posting schedules next week.
  22. That was an incredible play by Munguia. Reminded me of that play Silsbee's Dre'lon Miller made against Cuero in the playoffs.
