The improvements will be turf to football, baseball and softball fields as well as expanded seating, additional lighting and additional parking. Also new pressbox at the football stadium. Having it be a standalone vote instead of buried in or attached to a bond for new school buildings/buses etc..is much more transparent. A lot of taxpayers do not mind additional tax dollars going to buildings but oppose those dollars going towards an artificial turfed field that some may consider more of a nice to have than a necessity… Quote

Part of it is parking lots, which we need pretty badly. Much of the discussion has been about missed practice time compared to other schools especially in baseball. Quote
