I said "may". They reported 1905 to TEA for this year, last realignment the cutoff for D1 was 1903. Upon further investigation, I think probably not. The TEA numbers usually are the same as or about the same as the UIL numbers taken at the same time. But in some cases for whatever reason I know they're not. In 2023 the TEA number for Ball was 1951, but the UIL number was 2030. Hopefully somebody can explain why the UIL numbers are sometimes higher.

Does Ball rin an Alternative School that has students from MULTIPLE Districts enrolled?

Looks like Northwestern State also? Seems to have some good credentials. Really late in the year for the upcoming season. But, wish him the best. (Unless he’s playing LP. 😉)

New HFC for Baytown Sterling is former REL DC Spencer Anthony.

So now GCM’s HFC is a former REL OC and RSS’ HFC is a former REL DC. You think eventually GCCISD would just consolidate the programs since the coaching staffs are all-REL anyway.

yes for sure a head scratcher. Unless the new school is pulling that many athletes. Interesting move none the less.

You go from a 5A-D2 to a 3A-D2?  Something seems awful strange.  Even with the creation of another school this still seems strange.  Has to be more to it.

Place has pretty good playoff history consistently 2-3 deep. Nice little town with hill country charm. 
As stated now a multiple high school district And sometimes change is not a bad thing
