Just just curious, has either team had Homecoming for this game?

I'd think it would be great idea.  Even better, move it to Lamar and both Teams have Homecoming.  Can't think of a game grads would rather see.

Not sure about homecoming, but this game is on a whole different level. AND IT SHOULD STAY IN MC!

probably the only thing I will agree with an indian fan about this week, leave the dang game at the school venues!!!  MC Madness should be in MC not Beaumont!

On a more serious note, this again should be a great game...I know that the png faithful will accuse me of playing the old "underdog" card, but Nederland seriously should not be favored to win this game...ON PAPER, png should be favored...having said that, these games aren't played on paper and once again, Neumann and staff have the Dogs playing better and better each week...the longer this game stays close, the greater the pressure will be on png to reverse this 5 year losing trend...Nederland just seems to have a way and the fortitude to pull these tough games out...again, looking for a great, exciting game, but:

Dogs  38

Indians  35

I agree, leave the game alone and in MC.

Move the game, move the money, lose the interest , lose the flare of the game. People don't get it. Part of what made the game what it is today is not just the game, it was waiting in line to get a ticket , sometimes not being able to get a ticket. Getting to the game early so hopefully you don't have to park in Nederland when its in PN. Knowing for a fact that the goofball in front of you 2 rows down has got to be from the other side ( what the

Well the good news is that I handed all my Participant ribbons out last week to the whole community of Lumperton... And they greatly appreciated it... This week I'm only handing out 1 thing...... If things don't work out how I like, I will be looking for a place in seclusion to sulk like a baby for a few weeks.. I might need a few cases of Kleenex as well..... And at the end I sure hope i dont end up with a bad case of the Crouts......:)

My oldest was born in 96... Guess what was bought as well in 96.. Yep, you got it... I sat inline for over 24 hours to get my season tickets.. It is what it is... I have 4 in laws coming to town tonight that think they are going to the game, but don't have tickets... Like I told them, you should know better, not my issue.. Ive got mine, and I know every year whether its home or away, I better make sure i get them.. For the whiners online. as I stated, Im out of participant ribbons, but should have some new old stock in by next week if you want some... You can always watch outside the fence... Possibly by helicopter, or rent a man lift and boom above the stadium... Options are endless.... Its gonna be loud, its gonna be crazy, its gonna be good, its gonna be real, its gonna be packed, its gonna be MCM... Goose bumps on the way.... Get READY.... Best ATMOSPHERE in the LAND......:)

    • We'll see. I don't trust us.
    • Starting pitching has been shaky the last few weeks due to some injuries outside of Hagen Smith.  He goes tomorrow, so y’all should be fine
    • Manchin may get it but any mention of the radical left that wanted to get rid of the filibuster and end almost 220 years of history because the Democrats are mad?  The House and Senate are obviously different legislative bodies with entirely different election processes and rules for a reason. The House can vote on laws with a simple majority vote. The Senate put rules in place that it would make it much tougher to pass laws. Laws should be difficult to pass. The Senate is often the holdup of the right and left. It takes 60 votes to break the filibuster so any law will almost certainly require agreement at least in part, from opposing sides of an issue. Because they can’t get laws passed, the radical left is like a baby having a tantrum and wants to change over 200 years of history and make it potentially ridiculously easy to pass laws. I have seen current poll maps and it is possible for the Republicans to sweep into complete power in November but by the tiniest margin. That would possibly mean that a single vote margin in both houses could enact what you might call the radical right laws. There would be nothing that the Democrats could do to stop any legislation whatsoever if the left (they are all radical, minus Manchin) got their filibuster rule changed.  That is where the current filibuster comes into play as any new law would require several Democrats to agree with the majority Republicans and vice versa.  Do you want the potential for your radical right to have free rein as the radical left wants by killing the filibuster or is the radical left just as (if not more) dangerous? Let’s see if we have a history in this area? Oh yeah, the Democrats changed the rules in the Senate to allow federal judges to not have to overcome the filibuster. Obama was not getting his federal judge nominations passed and being angry, they changed the rules instead of nominating more moderate justices. They were warned that it would come back to bite them. They didn’t care and chose the nuclear option to change the rules. Oops! Any guess how Trump got all of his Supreme Court nominees passed against strong Democrat opposition? The Democrats got rid of the filibuster for federal judges after another tantrum   So when you are so worried about the radical right, are you equally concerned in what the radical left is always doing by changing rules and history which were put into place just for situations like we are in? So while Manchin gets it, what about his other 50 colleagues (49 + Harris)?  What concerns you more, Abbott and Paxton or the Democrats who want to make it to where if the Republicans do take over, they can go wild… at least in your mind?
    • MODS please remove that ISD twitter link! I had no idea it would copy the whole posting. I only highlighted the portion about the venue change. Sorry about that!
