Moderate = I don't pay attention enough to form an opinion so I call myself moderate to appear enlightened. I also don't make up my mind on a candidate until the debates because I didn't bother to actually research their history so I can be swayed by smooth talking.

Only things in the "middle of the road" are yellow strips and dead armadillos!      ;) 

Its really odd, because Enlightened/chosen has been on this board under several other names and, each time before he was banned, he went on liberal rants from both a fiscal and social standpoint.  Now he suddenly has a new name and a new outlook.  Kinda reminds me of our President when he spoke of attacking this deficit with a "balanced approach" (implying that he wanted tax hikes and spending cuts)  Well, I am experiencing the tax hikes but the spending cuts just don't seem to have materialized.  But, saying "balanced" sure sounded good and so does "moderate".  One more thing that really sounds good:  " If you like your doctor/healthcare plan, you can keep it".  One of these days we will elect someone based on substance rather than symbolism.

Excuse me? I have been nothing but congenial on this thread. Read my post about Stubblefield. I also said the "Ags" would take it. I only use "igs" when I see "tu". You are totally mistaken and I don't appreciate being called stupid. I may be misinformed at times, but I am not stupid. I have wished the Ags luck before. You just missed it. I work with many Ags and they would be ashamed of some of the ones on this board. We can laugh and joke about each other all day with no hard feelings. It took reading this forum stuff to realize there is a hatred for some.

Mack, the whole thing is about money. You really don't think there is more money to be made in Austin than Houston?

It’s an age-old argument. Liberals believe the solution to all that ails America is more, bigger government. Conservatives believe the opposite: less, smaller government allows America to achieve its full potential.
This post from John Hawkins on Townhall offers a defense of the latter.

Let's start judging by degrees of lying as to whether or not they are indeed qualified to be called liars. Give me a break. I mean, I only robbed one bank. Does that make me a bank robber?
