I want to say this I don't care what there record is I still going to see them play cause I'm a real mustangs fan that why they have low confidence because of the fans they already said it so the fans play a big part of them as well I hate when people gets on here and talk about how they is doing and they haven't been to any of the games

Not at all.
WOS helps us make noise in the playoffs every year.  Though we've never won the big one we will always chase it.  It's a shame to me that anyone from the Cove would bow down to adversity, even if it feels self-inflicted or forced upon them. Embrace the chance to rebuild whatever has been lost.  That's what a legacy team should and would do.
Be WOS and everything else will fall in place when the time is right, or dont...
I dont want to see WOS football go away but humbling times can be a stronger foundation.

Except for… never mind, that stuff doesn’t interest people who are ready to tar and feather the coach, who are complacent with below average education and would only ever go to a school board meeting because of football. 

Were you at the meetings when WOS had a C rating in 2019 (no ratings the last two years with COVID), but had a better football team?  Or is the B they got in 2022 only a problem because the football team is struggling?  Honest question.  Because if you ask me, bringing their academic rating up from a C to a B despite the challenges of learning through COVID is quite an accomplishment, and should be celebrated.  

Coach Hickman isn't being given a fair shake by most of you. WOS has a rich tradition and the community seems to be against this man after 5 games. WOS will get 2nd in district. You can't win em all folks. People show their true character when things are bad. Good luck the rest of the year.

I got it wrong then. I thought Hickman had gone back to Silsbee a couple years ago. Sorry about that. I look for Silsbee to get the win, and WOS will struggle against Lumberton and H-F. The others are wins. I don't see them going more than 2 deepin the playoffs IF they get into post season play.

I agree with this. They've got into a couple of alignments that look like an attempt at the 50. Makes me wonder if they just don't know how to coach it, but Hick has been there for 6 years as a defensive coach. How could he not know it?

Lol at West Orange Stark not being in the top 10 because of losing to PNG who has moved up into the 5A D2 too 10 for beating WOS. Let’s be realistic and honest… PNG probably isn’t a top 10 team in 5A and WOS at the end of the day still a top 10 team. You didn’t see Pleasant Grove dropping out of the top 10 after losing a game earlier in the year. 

Yes it seems that we had poor coverage on right side of our defense, that needs adjustment. So true that the running back at LCM is top notch, one we may not see one like him again for awhile. Overall, I'm impressed with how the Mustangs kept their composure when they were behind 20-8 and rallied back to win.

The coaches are doing a good job of putting players in a position to be successful. The next month will be exciting.
