Heck of a season, but ran into a buzz saw.  A buzz saw that will unfortunately have most of its teeth coming back next season. 

And he has two more kids coming up one in the 7th grade and one in 8th grade... they are just as good as the freshman

Especially when he plays quarterback. You’d think that would put him at the head of the line in most ADs eyes

I obviously know nothing about the situation, but an all-world son might be his best ticket to a higher profile job.  

Kinda depressing that NFHS relegated me to watching PA get boat raced instead if this game.

BU actually did a fantastic job finishing this one out.  They went on a run to go up 8 with 5:00, and took only 3 shots the rest of the game while killing off the clock and playing solid D.  All 3 shots were wide open dunks, and they won by 8.

What's worse is I heard Splendora scheduled their own homecoming during their bye week. 😂

I disagree with this wording. That implies the horns sort of gave up. The truth of the matter is they had 5 players, no bench help at all imo, appeared to give it everything they had, but silsbee made more plays, especially Harris at the end and Elam throughout. With no bench or true post, defeating the Tigers isn’t going to happen. It was a fun game and great effort but I wouldn’t imply that those 5 nor the staff “communally agreed” to give up. Harris just took over, which is what one would expect a Memphis commit to do in such settings.

Chapel Hill has played a mostly weak schedule. Not saying upsets can't happen (Anna took down Fort Worth Eastern Hills), but it'll take a minor miracle for them to beat BTW.
 

Coach Izzy struggles with vocabulary and comprehension. He frequently says things that are available for all to see and then denies them. Within this thread he stated that nothing illegal happened and that nothing would come out of the UIL investigation, meanwhile the NS OC admits to doing something Coach Izzy said did not happen.
