I'll never claim that every job lost should be cut, or that mistakes aren't made in haste. But you're really doing the whole democratic propaganda thing? Instead of focusing on whether or not the position is needed the left insists on bombarding us with sad sob stories about people laid off. in 2024 there were 20.3 MILLION employees laid off or discharged in the US. So can we quit pretending the left cares about laid off employees now? They're only upset that they're losing influence and programs to pour money into.

Maybe the younger Barrier wants this, but it's gotta be tough at that age being uprooted over and over. I know some of the friendships I made in high school are strong to this day, and those were four of the best years of my life. I can't imagine having to start over literally every year from 8th grade on.
