Two things I'm confident in: Shepherd is better than they were last year, and Jasper is worse. Last year Jasper beat them by 3 touchdowns. This year I think it'll be a close game. I'm gonna take Shepherd, but won't be surprised either way. Pretty wild how high everyone was on Shepherd and now that we've seen the result of them facing one week of good 4A competition the pick'ems are leaning towards 1-6 Jasper to beat them.

One more... IF HH plays like they did against Lumberton the next two weeks they'll be the 4-seed and sacrificial lambs to Kilgore. That said, I'm not sure if anyone out of this district gets out of the first round this year. #1 seed is liable to end up having to play Chapel Hill.

Any time you’re within 10 this late in the year you’re doing fine. And you’re much closer than that. Drop a 21 or 22 on the right week and you could go from a couple down to a couple up real quick. Of course, there’s always the possibility that you drop a 15 on the wrong week and go from a couple down to statistically eliminated. Thats what makes this all so much fun 😀

If my calculations are correct I dropped 23 this week, and I talked myself out of the San Augustine game at the last second

would've probably gone quicker if BISD hadn't actively tried to DENY receiving the money back when this judgement first came down.
