'zero tolerance policy' during Jeep Weekend
bullets13 replied to thetragichippy's topic in Local Headlines
I don't see how when many of the businesses close now, and others are damaged. Not to mention the cost of cleaning and fixing the beach every year. I'm not really sure what the legality is, but sometimes an "over the top" response is necessary to fix an over the top problem. I'm confident from seeing local residents on facebook that very few people in Galveston county are particularly upset by the drop in traffic OR the temporary closures/delays. -
wasted two excellent starts that series. Could've easily swept, but certainly should have taken at least 3 out 4.
-
Brown has been an absolute monster. Glad to take that one last night!
-
should be a fun series this weekend. 4-gamer with serious implications in the standings. Stros and Rangers are tied for second only 1 game back of the Mariners thanks to the Ms faltering and the rangers running off 5 straight dubs. I'm hoping it has that playoff feel that seems to come the last couple of years when these two meet.

just because it refutes your position doesn't make it asinine. the house is a microcosm of the country, and the metaphor is accurate.

Appears they lost 4 🤷🏻♂️. They’re about to get another shot at Brookeland, though.

Calvin Walker is finally paying for stealing from BISD

After only paying a few hundred dollars back to the district, but spending thousands while spending weekends in jail, Walker has finally had his probation revoked. -

Do you know what "perseverating" means? That's what you're doing. We're talking about something happening right now, and your only response is to (repeatedly) bring up something from 40 years ago. The irony is you keep asking this question but won't address why it was okay for Obama to deport so many people.
-
This is literally what Republicans are asking.
-
So you’re saying if my scenario was the law you wouldn’t have a problem with it. Got it.
-
what if the law allowed for a situation where a criminal could break into your house and have a baby, and then not only would the baby be allowed to stay and live there in your house, but the mother would be allowed to as well so she could take care of the baby? As the owner of the house you'd even have to allot some of your monthly budget to help provide basic services and food for them. Sound absurd? It does to me as well. @UT alum, same question.

Just glad there's no Rocker in there. I hope he figures it out, but he's been killing us this year.
-
nah, he doesn't like that part. he supports the constitution when it suits him.
-
So you also support "an AR-15 on every corner", right?
-
great chance to win another. the rockies are 7-33 this year. Hopefully build some momentum before hosting Houston for 4 games.
-
happens to all of us. if their dad had been hired it would still be pretty relevant.
-
if he is then he's not the only one 😉
-
would be nice if this is enough to get him out of there for a better republican. but like you said, I doubt it.

I spend lots of time on sabine, but I'm perfectly content to drive through PA without stopping on my way. I did probably 50+ ridealongs with @tvc184 back in the day and didn't see a single neighborhood that I thought i'd want to live in.
