I saw the halftime stats and I believe the were 3/8 from deep? maybe 3/9. so 2/14 or 2/15 in the second half. and a lot of those looks were bad. That total actually sounds low to me, though.

and again. forcing them up. the first one was a decent look, but they'd beaten the press and could've likely gotten a layup down low to be down 1. i dunno. I wanna see the stats.

now down 3 in OT they let Fairfield burn 1:34 off the clock before fouling. Fairfield made both freebies to go up 5, AND there's only a minute and a half left.

Fairfield ties it at the buzzer. Jim Ned kinda deserves to lose this one. With the lead almost the entire second half they've attempted quick 3-pointers on at least 80% of their 2nd half possessions. Would love to see the stats, but probably 3-18ish the second half? maybe 2-20? Something around there. Not sure if the game plan was to try and hit a dagger, but they threw away possession after possession. Their defense has been really good, but they passed up layups for contested 3s multiple times.
